I'm pretty sure most of this is clear to me but I'm not sure how the killing/action would work? Especially if you can't influence someone else's character.

I usually play as a half-elf sorcerer

You would say something like "[your character] stabbed their sword at [other character]'s head" or something. You can make the action of wounding or hurting, but it's the other person's decision whether or not to let it hit. You can't directly say "She stabbed him in the head".

The other RPer has to be okay with their character dying. but if it is time for the character to die, the mods can give the all-clear without the other RPers consent

Nice!!!! I play with my BFFs and sometimes my fam. i love it XD
Okay! That seems to make sense!
On a side note, I've been looking at the character creation and I've been noticing a lot of people doing larger character sheets with more questions to fill out that the sheet put at the beginning of the topic. I was wondering what size of sheet I should use.

I love D&D too! And Sherlock (I'm not quite sure if I should call you that, what name do you go as?) you should definitely get into it! It's really fun!

it's your choice how detailed you want to make a character. The template is the basics (the required stuff), but you can make anything more detailed. Some people use their own templates, so as long as you cover the base stuff it's whatever you want.

You can use whatever template you feel like! Some of us just get a lil more into it.

Okay! I think I'll make my character tomorrow though, I should probably go to bed!

I just go by Sherlock on here, some people know my real name but some don't, those who don't just call me Sherlock or Sherly XD

Ooh I’ve been wanting to play D&D forever but I’ve never gotten into actually looking for other people to play with? My dad’s military, so I move around a lot and never stay in one place for very long. I’ve been working on a character, but I haven’t finished her yet...

YESSSSSSSSS
I have one more question (sorry for having so many), how do we post pictures on Goodreads?
So that I can put a picture of my character

Just remove the periods. And if you’re on a computer you can click the html button in the top right corner of the text box.
Okay! Thank you! Do we keep the quotation marks though?
Oh, but the link has to be an image link. If it's a Pinterest link, you can't use the link to the post. If you're on a computer you can right-click an image (or control-click on a laptop) and hit "copy image address" and that should give you the right link.
Is this roleplay following canon or are some things AU?
Okay. So do the Careers still ALLY together and become a Pack, because (I haven't been around for long so I'm not really sure what happened before I came but...) they don't seem to be in a Pack together?
(Sorry for the accidental caps lock there)

How many characters per person can we have?

Yep! You make your own characters and roleplay them in their own Hunger Games. And thank you! There are a huge number of other groups that do it, though. Are you new to roleplaying?

Ah, okay. Well, this is actually a roleplay group, not a book discussion group.

Ah. Well, if you give me a little while, I can write an explanation!

Okay
So what you’re going to do is fill out a character template and post it in its corresponding Creation topic, and wait for a mod to approve it. The mods will also tell you what edits you need to make before you can use your character. After that, you can roleplay your character in places they would be, like a rebel character in one of the topics in the Districf 13 folder. Roleplay is written the same way that you would write a story - writing the character’s actions and dialogue. In this roleplay, we use third person past tense. You only roleplay your own character, and their reactions to what other characters say. So, for instance:
Person A: “John smiled. “Thank you,” He said.
Person B: Elizabeth have him a heartfelt grin back. “No problem!”
Person A: “John smiled. “Thank you,” He said.
Person B: Elizabeth have him a heartfelt grin back. “No problem!”

Thank you I will copy & paste a template with the info of my character.
