Thanks! ^_^

Well, if you made a decorative picture with it, it would count. ;) Kind of like Leah's quote art on the fan art page. http://www.ilyonchronicles.com/fan-ar...

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments Okay! That's kinda what I was thinking, actually.

Not the same thing, though.

Hope | 24 comments To respond to earlier comments:

For the Quiz: I got Liam! I think only a few people got him. I was a bit surprised, but I really like Liam, so I don't mind. :D

Gabs: Ranger's Apprentice and the Brotherband Chronicles by John Flanagan are really good. So is The False Prince {I forgot what the series is called, but I've only read the first one. And at my library they categorized it as "Adventure", but I think it's also "Fantasy". Of sorts. XD}

message 205: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Oh, I absolutely LOVE The False Prince (I think it was called The Ascendance Trilogy). I read all of them and they were amazing. I think the second one was the best. Last summer I read the Ranger's Apprentice. Those were great, too. I haven't read many of the Brotherband Chronicles. I've read two. How many are out?

message 206: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Hope, love your profile pic by the way. My favorite dwarves are Kili, Bofur, and Thorin. Fili would probably be next in line.

message 207: by Hope (new)

Hope | 24 comments Awesome! There are five books in Brotherband so far. Scorpion Mountain just came out a few months ago.
And thanks! Fili's my favorite. I think he's under appreciated. :(

message 208: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments I know: Fili IS super under appreciated! He didn't even get much a death scene. :( Kili's my favorite, but I love Fili too! :D

message 209: by Hope (new)

Hope | 24 comments I KNOW!! His death scene was, I felt, a bit rushed. Like Smaug's. Take out the Alfred scenes and add in more Fili scenes!

message 210: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments Totally! I HATE Alfred... Yuk. For a 3 hour movie some stuff WAS rushed. :P I'm hoping for a ton a new stuff in the extended addition!

message 211: by Hope (new)

Hope | 24 comments Me too. I heard that the Durin's funeral is in the Extended Edition, but I'm not sure what else will be in there. Hopefully more Fili scenes. :D

Jaye Knight (jayelknight) | 389 comments Mod
Fili! <3 I love both Kili and Fili, but Fili is definitely under appreciated.

message 213: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Foreshadowing Grima Wormtongue in The Lord of the Rings... I'd never thought of it that way. Yeah, that is interesting.

message 214: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments @Ysa: I agree Alfred was a good contrast for Bard, but he took up WAY too much screen time. He's like a petty Wormtongue, Wormtongue is a lot eviler then Alfred, but they do have a lot in common. :)

@Hope: The Durin's funeral meaning Thorin's funeral? :D :D Is that real or rumored? I can't believe the idea of a funeral makes me happy. XD But they SO need that! Yes, hopefully more Fili! :)
And the Elven King... We need lots more Elven King..

message 215: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments GUYS! I have victory!
My sister has had Resistance one her HUGE to-read bookcase in her room but she never really WANTED to read it. Well last night she was re-organizing her books and she was making a "re-telling" shelf and she held up Resistance and asked me how much of a Robin Hood re-telling it was. So I grabbed my chance and by explaining how awesomely Robin Hoodish Trask is, how much of a dark guy Jace is, and how Kaden looks like Gale she finally thought it sounded cool and put it in her to-read soonish stack!!! Now admittedly that stack is about three miles high and is going to kill someone one of these days . . . but still! I feel victorious! :D

message 216: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (wordfitlyspoken) | 158 comments GOOD WORK! *applauds loudly*

message 217: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Hey everyone!!!!!! I just created a quiz on Goodreads for Resistance! Try it out please.

message 218: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments @Gabs Where is it?

message 219: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Ummm... You'll probably have go on Goodreads on Safari (the Internet app). I don't you can see quizzes from the Goodreads app.

message 220: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments Okay. Yeah, I'm lazy and almost always use the app. I'll have to go online and check it out!

message 221: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Thanks. Yeah I jump from the computer, the app, and on my iPad online.

message 222: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) I just took the quiz. :) I invited you Amanda so you don't have to search for it. ;) Caution though, it's extremely difficult! At least, it was for me. ;)

message 223: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Yeah, I couldn't really tell if it was too easy, too difficult, or in the middle. I kinda just went through the book and came up with questions. It took me quite a few hours. But yeah, tell me what you think of the quiz!

message 224: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments Thanks Tamara!!

message 225: by H.M.R. (new)

H.M.R. (mybookcaseandi) | 381 comments That quiz I thought was awesome! I feel kinda ashamed I only got sixty some percent.:( butyet I feel pretty good about it since I haven't read it in awhile,

message 226: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Oh, you did fine Hannah. I only got 48% soooo...yeah. :( I do have a horrible memory though, and I read it last year.

message 227: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Oh, wait, I was worse than that. I got 42%, so only 12 questions right. :(

message 228: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments I got 64%...I thought I knew the book better than that. Haha. Gabs, I laughed out loud when I read "The Dixon Brothers" XD

message 229: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Yeah, same here! I thought I knew my stuff. Apparently not. I have to read it again now!!

message 230: by H.M.R. (new)

H.M.R. (mybookcaseandi) | 381 comments I want to read it again to but two of my friends might borrow it. and today should be the day when "Courage" and "Trust" of the Makiliem series:):):)

message 231: by H.M.R. (new)

H.M.R. (mybookcaseandi) | 381 comments Makilien not Makiliem:|

message 232: by Claire (new)

Claire Banschbach Awesome quiz!! I only missed 4, and I even guessed on a couple. Oh, well, guess that means I should go read the book again. :P

message 233: by Firefly (new)

Firefly (fireflys12) | 256 comments I got %53... I was really shocked that I had totally forgotten a ton of things... *hangs head* I am ashamed.

gabi | 358 comments Thanks Ms. Claire!!

message 235: by Katie (new)

Katie Grace (katiegracewrite) | 73 comments Ouch. Only 19/28 correct? I thought I would've gotten a LOT more. Time for a reread. xD

Oh, Jaye...xD Hahahaha.

message 238: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Thanks. Hopefully is wasn't too hard. It's very hard to tell when you're writing the questions. Read your own book! Hahaha. You are funny... :-D

message 239: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Maybe I should make one for The King's Scrolls......

message 240: by Katie (new)

Katie Grace (katiegracewrite) | 73 comments Haha. xD I was wondering how you'd do on it. :P

message 241: by Katie (new)

Katie Grace (katiegracewrite) | 73 comments o.O Yes, Gabs! You should. *nods*
Actually, if you want to message me over Goodreads I could help you... I have a copy of the book and we could both go through and find some questions. :)

message 242: by Morgan (last edited Jun 12, 2015 10:48AM) (new)

Morgan | 342 comments So I actually got a higher score than Jaye?...I only missed 2. Make one on TKS! That'd be cool.

Morgan wrote: "So I actually got a higher score than Jaye?...I only missed 2. Make one on TKS! That's be cool."

O_o I really don't know how that happened. :P

message 244: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Oh my, haha, that's hilarious! Makes me feel better about my own score though. ;)

message 245: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Sorry Morgan! I sent the friend request before I had finished. I just wanted to say I'm still being homeschooled, but it is so cool to meet other Christians, that were homeschooled too!

message 246: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments Awesome quiz! :D You're a great quiz maker Gabs! I only got 16 right. :P Though it should have been 17... You got one wrong. I don't think there's a way to edit quizzes and that's fine I just want to point it out:

"""What did Sir Richard Blaine almost take from Kaden when Kryin didn't give herself up in time?
his nose
one of his fingers***"right answer"
one of his eyes « your answer
one of his ears """"

This was the only question I KNEW with absolute certainly when I clicked my answer, because that was the part where I almost threw the book across the room and stamped on it. XD

(Unless you're talking about a different part and I'm just making a fool of myself. :P)

Jaye wrote: "I got 24/28 . . . O_o Perhaps I need to reread it. xD"

I made a very loud snort/giggle when I saw that. Wow. XD

message 247: by Morgan (new)

Morgan | 342 comments He almost took Kaden's finger right before Kyrin showed up. He almost took his eye when Kyrin was watching. We read Resistance as a family, and read that part recently.

message 248: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments I can edit the quiz, but I put "one of his fingers" as the right answer (I just checked it out). Maybe you accidentally clicked the wrong answer or that wasn't one of the questions you missed???

message 249: by Katie (new)

Katie Grace (katiegracewrite) | 73 comments Yeah, what Morgan says. Both almost happen to him, but when Kyrin wasn't there in time he threatened to send her his finger, not his eye. (Though I think either would be equally bad. :p)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments Morgan wrote: "He almost took Kaden's finger right before Kyrin showed up. He almost took his eye when Kyrin was watching. We read Resistance as a family, and read that part recently."

Oh okay, that was it! The eye part was much more memorable because like I said I got really mad. :P

So sorry about that! It's fine Gabs, I was just thinking of another part. :)
