Wow!! Third time! Hoping to start this on the weekend. :)

Hi Dom! I'm going to listen to the audio too. I can send you a copy of it if you like. :)

Excited to start this too!

Hi Dom! I'm ..."
Thanks!

I think there are two more books that are currently in the works by the author. I want to try the book because I'm sure I am going to learn more that I did not see in the show.
Looking forward in discussing this with you all! ☺️

Thanks :) Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on the book. I think I'm going to start on some tonight as well.

I am not seeing much of a difference with the book and the tv show so far. Who are your most fave and hated characters?

Alyana asked: "Who are your most fave and hated characters?"
Having read all the books and seen the tv show, it is difficult to answer that question honestly, especially when you know what happened to all of them. But I do like Tyrion,. I find that he is not a "black and white" character...
As for the character I hate, I would say that Joffrey is the winner...for now :-)

I do like Tyrion too. I really hate Joffrey and also Sansa. I think she is selfish, just thinking about her own sake and I'm not sure if she's really in love with Joffrey or because he is the only way for her to become queen.

Although I am liking it. I thought it would be a bit denser but I’m finding it very readable.
I’m around the 400 page mark, maybe a little before. The boyfriend has joined in so we literally have to read it together which means I can’t read ahead. Otherwise I think I would have plowed through it.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.
