((Ellie…Jade and Veronica are gonna be a ship, Ian’s mad, Jade’s sad and Troubles on the way))

Veronica looked at Ian's hand. "Its broken isn't it."

Jade noticed Ian’s clenched jaw and annoyance pricked at him. He rolled his shoulders. Realizing he was still holding Veronica’s hand, he quickly let go and glanced her. His face flushed, so he looked down. He had pulled his cowl off earlier and wished he hadn’t.

Veronica wondered if Ian was lying to her, but she didn't ask. "So, what are the three of us going to do?"

Jade swallowed and stepped close to Ian. Bending onto one knee, he spoke to Ian
“I need to snap it back into place, or the bone will heal weird.”

Veronica took Ian's other hand. She knew how painful it was to pop bones in place.

Jade looked at Veronica.
“Do you have a stick or piece of leather he can bite on?”

Jade raised an eyebrow.
“If you say so.”

He grabbed Ian’s hand, inspecting the finger. After a second or two, he snapped the finger back in place.

Veronica grabbed one of the strips from her jacket and folded it in half to make it thicker. "Bite this and not your tongue." She took his other hand to for support. "Ready?"

Veronica squeezed his good hand. "Is it fixed now?"

Jade felt a prick of jealousy seeing Veronica hold Ian’s hand. He cracked his neck, and looked at Ian.
“You need water now.”

*Inara jumps back. Unsure if she should help him or not.*

*Inara goes into here bag, and pulls out a bottle of water*
*She walks over to Ian. Holding it out*
“Here you go. It’s never been drinking out of.”

Penelope looked like she wanted to punch him, but also she felt compassion for him. She felt bad, but didn’t care too much.

Jade gave Inara a look of gratitude.

*Inara glances at Jade, and gives a smile!*
