"Uh Jade, we can't leave the castle. The door won't open and we haven't found another exit yet."

Jade roughly shoved his hand in his hair, letting out a frustrated growl.
"Then we should find an exit right?"

"We've tried, but the castle's hallways apparently move and change."
She took his hand. "There isn't a way out right now."

((Reminds me of Maze Runner with the pattern changing))

He intertwined his fingers with hers.
"Come on, let's go into this room. We'll have to check each room."
He led her into a room, that seemed like a kitchen.

He found a torch, and lit it with some flint and steel from his pocket.
Sure enough, it was a kitchen.

Veronica squeezed Jade's hand and walked into the kitchen. It was furnished like an 1500s castle kitchen and it was just as clean.

((I'm loving their relationship way too much))

"Do you think there will be food?"
He smiled at the thought of cheese.

((same here))

"Well, the kitchens are actually for cooking, they would have a larder or pantry for keeping food. Although the entrance should be nearby."

Jade looked around eagerly.
"Do you like cheese? Cuz if you don't....." He loved teasing her.

"Oh I hate cheese, such a disgusting creation." She grinned to show that she was joking.

Jade faked shock.
He spun her by the hand around towards him. They were now very close. He took a step back, still holding her hand.
"Excuuuuusee me! Cheese is the best!"

Veronica laughed. "I'm just kidding, cheese is delicious."

He looked down at her (cuz I'm assuming he's taller than her), smiling.
"Yeah." He wanted to step closer, but he didn't. Jade didn't know what this feeling was. It was so different than all the hate, and anger he felt all the time, like sunshine creeping through storm clouds.

Veronica was just as confused about her feelings. She really liked to talk to Jade, but was it more than friendly feelings? She looked into his brown eyes.

((I'm just waiting for someone to barge in and interrupt them, just like in every movie ever))

Penelope had decided to go find them, they were taking way to long, which concerned her. She started walking down the hall and then bumped into them looking into each other’s eyes. Penelope stopped and just stared at them. “Oh..um…did I interrupt something.”

Veronica jumped and stepped away from Jade.

((hmm..I might try the slapping))

Penelope smiles slightly, “Well I guess your ok then. By the way, Ian passed out.

Veronica gasped. "What? oh no, come on Jade, we should go help him."

((ohhhhhh Karaaaaaa!))

“Yeah! But he’s ok now.”

Veronica dragged Jade back into the main room and saw Ian collapsed on the floor. She walked over quickly and kneeled down next to him. "Ian, wake up!" she tried shaking him, yelling at him, she even slapped him a few times, but nothing worked.

Penelope kneeled down beside Veronica, “I tried slapping him, but he just wouldn’t wake up.”

*I look at Veronica*
“Is he ok?”

Veronica checked his pulse. "He's alive, but I don't know how to wake him up. He's breathing so thankfully none of us have to do mouth to mouth."

“You thought someone would actually have to do mouth to mouth!!??”

Veronica nodded grimly. "Its disgusting, but life saving."
((Where is Kara? I was hoping Jade would make some comments))

((Do you know what she's doing? or is she just asleep.))

*Inara walked up to Ian and Veronica*
“I have smelling salts. Do you want them?”

Veronica nodded. "Worth a shot."

*Inara goes through her bag, looking for the salt.*
“Ah ha! Here it is” *Inara hands the salt to Veronica*

Veronica uncorks the bottle and saves it under Ian's nose.

((what if I messaged Kara? You think she'd show up then? We really need Jade.))

“We were all just worried about you. It just happened so suddenly.”

Veronica grabbed Ian's hand before he could fall again. "Careful, your still recovering."

*Inara goes through her bag.*
“Ah ha! Here it is”
*she pulls out something that looks like a loaf of bread*
“Anyone want some food?”
