She laughed back. "Fine." She loved it when he teased her. She started opening and searching cabinets.

Jade began rummaging through the cabinets, pulling out plates and cups, then he would move onto another space.
"There's nothing here. Come on, there's got to be something!"

(Carsie!!!!!!! I need Ian to wake upppppp!!!! I can do anything till he does!!!!!)

His thoughts were so scattered. He tried to focus on finding the herb, but all he could think about was Veronica, her smile, her smell, her personality. Everything

Veronica searched through the bottom cabinets and finally found something. "Look, a basket of dried herbs. Will any if these help?"

Jade spun towards her, and rifled through them. Finally he pulled one out.
"My father used this one when my mother was sick, with the same symptoms like Ian. I hope it works."

Veronica gathered all she could of that herb and made her way towards the door.

"Good idea." Veronica led the way back into the main room. "How is Ian?" she asked Inara.

He ripped the leaves up. He took the empty water bottle from Inara and put the leaves in. He needed to wet the leaves somehow.
"Does anyone have any ice?"

It was a far stretch to ask, but he had to try.

Veronica looked around. "I don't think so, but the castle is pretty cold. Maybe I could find some."

When no one answered, he sighed heavily.
"You'll just have to chew these up and swallow."

“Wait! I have more water!”

*Inara goes into her bag, and pulls out another water bottle. She hands it to Jade*
“Here you go”

Jade smiled at Inara.
"Thank you!" He poured the water into the bottle with the leafs in them. He handed the bottle back to Inara.
"Can you give it to him? I don't know how gently I can do it...I'm pretty clumsy."

((For some reason this scene reminds me of a time in Supergirl where Kara and Mon-El (Mike) are sitting on the couch, and Kara's just smiling really big and Mike goes

"Are you now?" and then Kara says
"Yeah. Like that butterflies in my stomach happy."

*Inara opens Ians mouth, and puts some more of the liquid in his mouth.*

Jade quickly steps forward, putting a hand on Inara's shoulder.
"Not too fast, or he'll choke. Do it a little slower."

*Inara looks up at Jades face.*
“Ohh! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to!”

Jade rubbed her shoulder, calming her. He didn't need someone panicked healing someone.
"No, it's fine. You didn't know. If you wanted, I could teach you herbs."

Veronica watches, concern all over her face.

Veronica noticed Jade rubbing Inara's shoulder.

“Um. Yeah! I’ve always wanted to learn about herbs! Thanks!”
