Original Coffee Shop discussion

He loved her smile, it was so..happy. He took the dagger and put in the sheath at his waist.
"Come sit?" He asked her, hoping she'd say yes.

"Sure." She sat next to him and put her head on his shoulder.

He rested his hand on her lap, and closed his eyes. Jade tilted his head so that it was leaned on hers. He must have dozed off, because he startled at a loud crash from the other room.

((How about a werewolf? Jade hasn't seen one yet and he wanted to join the hunters.))

Jade quickly stood, pulling out a long dagger, about a foot and half long. He didn't bother telling Veronica to stay back. From all the books he read, the female never stayed, in fact they did the opposite.
"Come with me, just stay behind me." He crossed the room silently.

"Got it." She pulled out her own knife and followed him silently.

He reached the door way and looked into the corridor.
"I think it's coming from the room past the kitchen." He grabbed a torch, lit it, and continued into the hallway.

*Inara woke up. She noticed that Jade and Veronica had swords out. She jumped up.* “What is is!”

"There is something down the hall" she whispered to Inara.

Jade didn't hear the words Inara was saying, just heard her voice from behind him. He stopped to listen, to figure out what the problem was. There was a growl and then another crash.

"It's probably just a wolf. Let's dispatch it and get back. We probably need to wake up Ian."

"Wait a minute" Veronica listened carefully. "That sounds like-" A howl pierced the air. "Werewolf!" Veronica pulled out her bow and sprang into action.

*Inara pulls out her bow, and knocked it with an Arrow.*

Jade looked at her quickly, seeing her draw her bow. He didn't have anything silver so he'd have to let her do the work....as much as he hated it. He knew she could take care of herself.
"I'll distract, try to shoot." Jade ran ahead of Veronica, throwing the dagger at the Werewolf. Drawing out a dagger from his boot, he threw that one too.

"Your weapons are useless against it! Only pure silver can kill it." Veronica shot an arrow into its hide as it ran towards them.

((Jade...stop throwing all your weapons......idiot))

The werewolf howled in pain, angered it charged again faster. Jade looked around and found a pot. He grabbed it and threw it at the creature. ((he's quite obsessed at throwing things I think))

((maybe Veronica should have him get that checked out))

Veronica pulled back another arrow, but the werewolf was too close to get a lethal shot. "She pulled out her daggers and slashed at the creature.

"You'll have to get me one of those daggers sometime." Jade yelled above the howling and growling.

He grabbed a dagger from inside his cloak and stabbed the Werewolf with it. Nothing happened.

The creature spun, swiping at Veronica.

"Once you join the hunters, I'll get you set." She threw a dagger into the werewolves shoulder. It buried itself deep.

The beast fell, it was bleeding too much. Jade kicked it in the face, hard.

Veronica ended it with a dagger to the heart.

"Good job. You fight well....for a girl." He smirked, giving the werewolf another kick to the face. "That's pretty fun." ((were high fives a thing back then? cuz if so Jade gives her a high five)

Veronica grinned. "It is fun isn't it."

Veronica looked up. "Hey Ian, how did you sleep?"

*Inara comes up behind Ian*
“What happened?!! You guys ok?”

Jade walked over to Ian, raised an eyebrow.
"You're up already. Good job."

Jade laughed.
"Yeah. You're a really lousy sleepyhead."

Veronica checked on the werewolf. "Its dead alright. A silver dagger to the heart will do that to you."

Penelope woke up and looked around and saw the dead werewolf, “Woah. I slept through that?”

"Hm. Penelope AND Ian need more nappy. " Jade looked Veronica.
"I do too. Fighting makes me tired. But first...we need to find food."

(((I want tragedy between Veronica and Jade...like someone gets hurt or or or like not hurt physically like Jade gets angry or something I DONT KNOW SOMETHING TRAGIC)))
