Hello there! I recently sent out my manuscript to a handful of agents thinking my story was ready but after all the rejections I'm thinking maybe I need some help! So here I am!
My book is called THE BEAUTY AND CHAOS OF MONSTERS and the summary is:
They have always had to fight monsters. It's been essential to their survival.
Sixteen-year-old twins Marcellus and Ophelia Hayes could not be more opposite. Marcel is an accomplished extrovert and always tries to look on the bright side of everything. While Ophelia - an award-winning introvert - is plagued with a toxic inner voice that manifested when her stepfather first violated her. Although they rely on each other, the two navigate their abusive household and rocky upbringing separately until everything reaches a boiling point. When their stepfather unexpectedly dies, the twins find themself in uncharted waters. Faced with being separated into the foster system or fleeing, they set off on an odyssey with monsters around every corner. Over the course of three months, they meet an egotistical and narcissistic drug dealer, a motley trio of drifters, and a father who has always been more myth than truth. Yet, together the twins learn how to balance both the beauty and the chaos of their lives and quiet that inner voice no matter how loud it becomes.
