I fixed the Night Raven. I really hate the new book pages.

It's just extra clicks to get a book posted as read. There was nothing wrong with the book pages before.

yeah literally the only good thing about the new book page is that i don't have to scroll past a mile of friends reviews before i get to the community reviews. everything else i feel like just made it harder to use and view tags or switch editions etc. it's like they decided to hide or minimize all the information i actually wanted to see.

Add me to the list of people who don't like the new book pages. It just made everything harder to find.

Question for captains -- I'm listening to Aurora Burning and it is a full audio cast (wonderful listen if anyone is interested). I'm assuming we cannot use ALL the narrators names, correct? There are 7.

I just got the ebook of Apples Never Fall. Moriarity's books usually read really fast, so I will read it.

The new page looks nice and I'm slowly getting used to it, but I still miss the old page. Did you guys try it when they were beta-testing the new page? It wasn't very clear and you had to do so many extra clicks to find the needed information.

You can as long as they are listed on the edition you read. 😀

It’s the book main page, they have changed the layout

I keep forgetting to date books with this new page. It used to pop up as soon as you gave a star rating. Not it's extra clicks. Also extra clicks to get from the MPG genres to all the genres.

I'll get over it.

I really liked Rules of Redemption. I'll probably read the next one for another Space Opera book. I should get a lot of listening this weekend as I clean for Thanksgiving. Yesterday the heat went out in the office and I sometimes up to 10 people in here replacing the gas heaters and what not. (they were already here replacing one when the other one konked out). Smoke alarms went off. It was a whole thing. But too chaotic for me to listen to anything.

We now have our 5th pink book claimed, so we're good on those, unless you have one you want to read as a backup in case someone doesn't finish theirs.

We can always use more Space Opera (10 tags min) books also.

I work from home on Fridays. But the heat was working when I left yesterday. There's a small part of me hoping that it breaks again over the weekend and I can work from home on Monday. Although I had to stay here yesterday with all the chaos. I got very little done.

Just think you dont have to go out into the cold

It's been in the 30's here for about a week. We've had snow twice but it didn't last long either time. Of course one of the times it was snowing was when I had the doors and windows open at work to get the fumes from the new heater out. I had 2 sweaters, my coat and gloves on. I would have gotten up and moved around a lot but I recently had foot surgery and I'm using a cane at the moment.

Mary, we used to live about middle of the state in NH and I well remember those cold fall days. I don't miss them at all. Hope you get a little bit of warmer weather!

I must be crazy, but I saw Dune on the list for Space Opera and decided to get it in audio format (21 hours normal speed) from my library. I listen at 1.75 speed usually, but even sped up some it's still going to be a challenge to get it listened to by Monday's deadline. I'm guessing the last time I read it was in the 70s when I was in college. I don't recall the details, but I do remember I really liked it. So far the narration is spectacular and even has sound effects. It's really more like listening to a movie.

My other Space Opera, Cytonic, came into my library today, so I'm off now to get in a few hours of reading in that.

I loved Dune. Just read it for Tower Teams and I already want to reread it again. Next time, I'll need to check out the audiobook.

Do we have enough Zs for this week? Looks to be enough on the tracking sheet but if not I've a short book that will work for Z.

It may be down to the fact we currently have 2 incomplete words

Brown...yuck! Also not a fan of Mythology, so not going to be my kind of week. Hope some of you on the team like those two categories.

I'm in pretty deep for the deadline. I've made progress with Dune and my Cytonic book, but sadly I heavily doubt I'll be able to read an additional book for R in time. I checked on Wiki for character names (since there seem to be a million characters in Dune), but unfortunately there aren't any R characters.

Looking ahead to next week, please give me your feedback for these possible brown covers.
