Sorry, but King of the Causeway is only 124 pages and the minimum page count is 160 pages. I removed it from the tracking sheet. Hopefully you still enjoyed the book and maybe it can be used in another challenge!

I'm have just about 50 pages remaining in the The Tumbling Turner Sisters and should finish it tonight and get it logged after we take our daughter and son-in-law to the airport late morning, so in time. It's a brown cover.

The Sea of Monsters is going to read fast. I'm only about 25%, but will get it read in time. It's a brown cover.

The Lying Game never came into my library, so I've removed it from the spreadsheet. It was a brown cover, but looks like we'll have our quota.

Do we need to do the word count even if the books are tagged as young adult? I thought that since more people have tagged it as young adult, I didn't do the word count.

I'll have one done tonight. The other at lunch time tomorrow -- which should hit about 3 hours before the deadline. :) Sorry, it was a terrible week for reading.

I finished mine this evening and have just updated on the SS.

Just finished mine. I'm pretty much done with other challenges, so I can do better with tags. For most challenges I've done, longer books are better for points; however, it seems like that doesn't matter here, especially since we don't have a book cut off. I can probably up my # of books with some shorter ones. Let me know if I'm wrong in my thinking.

Unfortunately if the book has MPG children then a verified word count is needed or a link to an audio over 4hours long, irrespective of other tags on the books main page.

We get more points for bigger books but we get an additional 5 points for each tagged book. In effect you can get more points for reading 2 shorter tagged books than 1 with a higher page count.

400page book = 40

200page tagged = 20 + 5 = 25
160 page tagged = 16 + 5 = 21
Combined = 21 + 25 = 46

I finished the Tumbling Turner Sisters earlier and was kicking myself that I didn't at least get that one on the SS when I finished it. Time slipped away while I was reading! Big relief that I got them in on time!

unfortunately it's non fiction so the people in it don't count as characters but i'm glad we at least need extra Ts
