Next week, our word is THE GOOD WIFE OF BATH (green) and at least 10 tags of Zombies (Link:https://www.goodreads.com/genres/zombies)
The planning sheet will be up later today, and I have included some books that have >10 zombie tags as suggestions for people who aren't as fond of traditional zombie books.

Planning Sheet Up

Chiming in to say that I LOVE Sabriel. Greatly enjoyed Magic Bites, Leviathan Wakes, and The Bone Houses.

It's been kind of a chaotic week for me but I've been switching between 3 books, 2 of which are big. I finished 1 this morning and I have a feeling I might be able to finish the other 2 today as I've been making good progress. If not, I will hopefully finish it tomorrow morning before the deadline!

I had no idea Sabriel was a zombie book. I tried to listen to it on audio last year and couldn't get into it at all. Think it was just the audio format didn't work for me. I keep meaning to try reading it.

I may give Leviathan Wakes a try, it's on 2 for 1 on audible today. It is however 19 hours which usually takes me longer than a week so no guarantees I'll actually finish it.

I will second the recommendation for Illuminae. I loved that book on audio

Zombie books are definitely new to me. I'm always willing to try new genres but I want to thank you all for all of those recommendations! LOL

I would say that is green enough. I'm about to leave for a doctor's appointment but we'll get some more lines on the ss or at least move stuff around to get books to fit.

Excellent timing! I was just going to delete one of my books from the spreadsheet as I got confused and thought the minimum was 125 pages. Luckily, it looks like you already caught it. Thanks.☺️

Also, I replaced it with another book I am reading at present. The author's last name starts with W so it works out perfectly.

Checking in as we near the end of the last week, how it everyone doing?

We got snow last night, which was pretty but not fun to drive in.

I am finishing up my last book listed on the spreadsheet tonight. I'll probably have a random book to add tomorrow.

We got rain for the first time in a month yesterday which was nice. I love when it rains.

I should be finishing Magic Bites tonight or tomorrow.

Started In Such Good Company by Carol Burnett, will need to do some shifting around as it’s nonfiction. I think that will be my last book.

I am almost completed with my last book - Dread Nation but am going to try and squeeze in the sequel which is also tagged Zombies.

I'm going to try to finish my current book today, maybe both of my current books as I've been switching between them.

It's been a very hectic week for me at work and then now I have company so I will be falling a few short of my weekly goal. But one of the ones I'm hoping to finish is very long so that's good, at least.

I finished Isaac and the Egg earlier today and have started something which should be a quick easy read.

I'll finish the 2 I have in the spreadsheet tonight and possibly 1 more.

We've got a week full of freezing temperatures and a bit of snow. Now it's raining and getting warmer. Hadn't done much reading. It was my sons' birthday and he got sick on his birthday. It lasted 4 days, but I've finished a book :)

I've added it to the sheet, but there was no new word for now.

I shifted things and worked your book into an empty spot in a current spelling.

Alison, when I was checking books this morning I saw you'd finished Window shopping so I went ahead and added the read date to the tracking sheet for you :)

Last book completed and updated on the spreadsheet.

I added a book on the bottom. Not sure where to put it but I think you'll want to include it as it is 800+ pages ;)

for official type purposes, I'm done all the books I'll be able to finish by the deadline.
