The green is bright but I don’t think it is at least 50%

read any horror under 250 pages, no minimum number of books or weekly prompts

June on the Range: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtTXE...
read westerns. the video gives some suggestions of possible prompts, but there is nothing binding

I believe July has something to do with war, but it hasn't officially been announced yet. Garb-August is about reading "garbage" books, but the official announcement hasn't come out yet.

I'm sorry, I still haven't had a chance to read everything.

Is this that all need to read Kings of the Wyld?

Or is there anything that we need to read specifically.

I'm gonna have to give up my laptop for couple weeks, and it will be difficult to navigate goodreads with just my kindle. So I want to make sure I'm prepared for everything I need for this month before I send it off.

You can read absolutely anything you like 😊

It is only if you want to read the BOMs (starting with Kings of the Wyld) and join the specific discussion thread for that book that we receive additional points. But it is optional.

We don’t have many books claimed in the 100-199 page range or 600+ pages so that could be helpful if you have any in those ranges, but again, feel free to read what you would like. Every book counts

I agree with Karen it looks bright purple. I tend to steer clear of tineye unless a challenge specifically asks that it’s used. If in doubt post the cover here and we can make a team decision 😀

I'm guessing you are referring to Finna for the dark green. It is listed as 92 pages, so won't really help. It is excellent and so it Defekt, which is just a little under 200 pages and kind of yellow-ish. I believe there is a combined edition, but it may be in Italian and not English... would have to look that up.

I recently read Gone to See the River Man and House of Hollow (its more than 250 but read really fast for me) and I quite enjoyed them. (But they have to do less with ghosts but more horror as a genre)

I don't know it works for a colour, maybe we use it for a spell it out instead ;)

And I totally agree on the 20 hours = 433 pages thing. It annoys me so much when I have a 20-30 hour audiobook and the page count makes it sound like a 9 hour book. lol

Have you read anything by Samantha Schweblin?
She is an Argentinian writer. They are more psychological horror. Fever Dream is 183 pages. I've read a collection of her short stories, and I'm still kinda freaked out by it!
