Sounds good! I hope the tasks are nice so that I can maybe work on them while I have some downtime this week. The festival goes from like 1-11 Thursday-Sunday so I may not have much reading time at all but I hope to get at least a little done. We have friends coming into town and some are staying with us and some are staying at an airbnb but our house will be the main hub. I took off Wed and Mon just to have downtime before the crazies.

Friendly? Tell you what... you try to tame him and keep him as a pet. I am going to slowly back away.

Skull Devil

The Skull Devil is a 95-foot-tall Skullcrawler with only two forelimbs and no hindlimbs. Skullcrawlers were responsible for wiping out most of Kong's species long ago. He was the most intelligent skullcrawler. Skull Devil was finally taken down by Kong with the help of human allies.

To capture Skull Devil you will need to complete two chains.

Miserable weather here on the east coast - outside of Philadelphia. We're getting Tropical Storm Ophelia ⛈️. Seems like a good weekend to get the fall clothes out and put away the summer clothes (while listening to an audiobook of course🤣)

Ugh to weather - my daughter sent me a photo yesterday of her and a friend looking quite drippy after being caught in the rain in DC. Clio was of course laughing while her friend looked like she wanted to punch something - lol. Stay dry! :)

Reminder: Everyone should read at least one task per monster. Nobody should read a whole chain by themselves. This is rule #1.

We did a 4 day music festival and it was so fun. I would actually like a touch of rain to stir up the air but we haven't had any in awhile. Foo Fighters and Green Day were my two favorite bands of the weekend.

I did some spying.....I don't think I made the right choice!!! We are going to be hunting some books...lots of books.

I poked around a little too - 2 arms and 4 legs - eek!

I know! I'm going to actually see what I can find to work on this week that will work for other things. I have a nice week/weekend where I can hopefully really knock out some books.

Amhuluk


Amhuluk's body looks like a mess of black vines tied together. He has four legs and two arms. There are blue colored streaks running throughout his body. It appears like trees are protruding from his back and he had a fish-like face with multiple yellow, glowing eyes, a stinger-tipped tongue, and squid-like tentacles coming out from his neck. He is very hostile toward other Titans except for Godzilla. He has telekinesis and can hurl parts of himself at opponents using it. Some of his other skills include great strength, amphibiousness, he doesn't feel pain, adaptability, and the ability to send a psychic blast to an opponent's brain using his tentacles.
He was awakened in 2019 by King Ghidorah and he escaped the Monarch outpost surrounding him. He was only pacified when Madison Russell activated the Orca in Fenway Park. Later, he encroached on Behemoth's territory in the Amazon rainforest. He split one of Behemoth's tusks with a single slash of his hand. Then he grabbed his other tusk and dragged Behemoth to the river. Godzilla interrupted their battle and prompted him to leave the area.

To capture Amhuluk, you will need 6 chains

Ohhh, I've been wanting to read that one. Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors. I think I'll see if it's available and see if I can knock it out this weekend. I did pick up the newest hockey romance book from Toni Aleo and knocked it out last night/this morning but it unfortunately doesn't really work for any of these!

It works for many of the tasks, but I thought the psychic might be the hardest.

Totally, I was pretty stumped on what I was going to read for that one. I'm also over here trying to figure out books for the spider webs and all the other things that I'm somehow trying to get caught up on. One good thing is the hockey book that I read worked for like 10 challenges so that was a plus!
