Banyan Moon was a SLOW read though. Lucky that all three recent books fit some of the tasks😀

I love the Dark Protector series. It's always been one of my favorites and has so many fun characters. I'll have my other two books finished this weekend. This past week just went crazy and I have not had time to really update things like I've wanted to.

I know what you mean about catching up - spent way too long this am updating the hundred challenges I'm in right now. I've vowed to not sign up for any more challenges until 2024 - lol.

Mothra

Mothra is a giant moth that was revered as a goddess by ancient human civilizations. She hatched in 2019 and escaped from Monarch. She joined Godzilla to stop Ghidorah from destroying the world. Ghidorah summoned Rodan to intercept her. Despite her injuries, she was able to sting Rodan and incapacitate him. She crawled on Godzilla and flew at Ghidorah. He disintegrated her with his gravity beams but her energy flowed into Godzilla. This empowered Godzilla and he took his place as King of the Monsters.

Mothra is unique and you will need a net to capture her. To weave a net, you will have to do a small spell-out.

Checking in and saying hey! Real life has been a little nutsy but I'm over here with my first down weekend in so long and it feels so good to be curled on the couch, with snacks, and able to knock out some books and catch some of my random challenges up.

Hey 👋🏻. My husband & I were in New York City Saturday night for a family dinner (his). We’ll be hosting Thanksgiving dinner for 20 or so at our house and my daughter is getting married in 3 weeks. A little nutty here too!

That sounds like a fun family dinner. Whew, that's going to be a busy Thanksgiving. We don't go home for that holiday so it's usually just my husband and his sister comes into town. We cook some of our favorite things on a smaller scale and decorate for Christmas. When is the wedding? You're going to be super busy for awhile because Christmas isn't that far away.

The wedding is December 2nd. Only 196 guests😲. Her fiancée has a big family.

I'm so sorry for delay in posting!! And I don't even have good reasons like a wedding - congratulations! :)

King Ghidorah


King Ghidhorah was an evil alien dragon that invaded Earth in the ancient past. He clashed with Godzilla and Mothra, who succeeded in sealing him underneath the Antarctic ice. In 2019, eco-terrorist Alan Jonah and Monarch defector, Dr Emma Russell released Ghidorah from his frozen tomb. Godzilla & Mothra joined forces again for a final confrontation. Ghidorah summoned Rodan to help deal with Mothra. Mothra defeated Rodan and then sacrificed her life to save Godzilla from Ghidorah. This allowed Godzilla to finally destroy Ghidorah.

To capture King Ghidorah, you will need 5 chains.

Lol, sure let's go for it. I think the fates are trying to tell me to read Fourth Wing because all my friends keep talking about book 2 and I haven't read book 1 and it has dragons in it.

They are both good books. You can't go wrong with them.

I was skeptical, because I find I'm a little impatient with YA fantasy, but I did have fun reading the first book. It's light, and fairly predicable, but fun all the same :)

I haven't read Fourth Wing yet. It is on my TBR list though. Looks now might be the time.
