Have swapped the books around

1. The tasks for our new sport on our SS are not updated with the new ones.
2. Read a book with books sitting on a table, a cigar, a champagne bottle or wine/champagne cork on the cover - does these objects have to be all on the cover or we can pick one object? I have this one, for wine bottle, is this okay?

3. For a book with a two word title, where both words begin with the same letter - can the title be considered as two words if it has the articles in it? I have The Hitchcock Hotel.
4. Is this a projectile?

'The Friend Zone' certainly does feel like a projectile emotionally haha

Alayna -
1 - Let me take a look, I probably just messed up again and didn't add something!
2 - You only need 1 of the items. The book you have listed fits perfectly.
3 - No for this one. "The" is a word; so articles count.
4 - I guess up are asking bout the "arrows" that are pointing at the guy? If so, they do appear to be shooting out from the girl toward the guy and arrows are projectiles - so yes that works.

Thank you! :)

It needs to be at least shaped like an arrow you shoot with.
I would take something like this:
Oops! You asked about the bow. It needs to be a bow that shoots arrows.

Are we all done? NC2 checked in on the 30th and we haven't gotten any new tasks....Could we be done and just not know it?

No worries. I just wasn't sure. Thanks!

You can, but you can also use books from the start of the challenge.
(Any books started on or after July 25 and completed during the dates of the challenge can be banked and used at any time in this challenge. Provided they have not already been used. Each book read can be used only 1 time in the Olympic Games challenge.)

Yep, if you can give a reasonable explanation, I'll accept it (since we are no longer competing.)

Do you mean a cross-country event specific to Mountain Biking? Or any type of event that has a cross-country component? Like Running - there is the specific event called Cross-Country as well as Marathons. So in that case would you want "cross country running" all together mentioned, like someone was doing that event or would any type of running be okay? Or if we found "marathon" in the context of running? If someone is biking/running/jogging for physical fitness would that count?
What was your intention with this task... confused minds want to know??!!
Hi LaurLa!
The task was meant to be any event (sport or non-sport) that you would consider to be "cross-county". I didn't intend for it to be super specific.
Either of the events and ways they are mentioned in you post would work. Also, a cross country flight or road trip that crosses from one country to another would be work.
Hope that helps!

If you have a book to substitute, you can do so and I'll update the points.
I'm sorry - I thought I posted that explanation in your thread with the option to correct.
