(Here!)Cameron spotted Luke sat at a lunch table
“What’s your favorite food?” Cameron asked abruptly as soon as he was within hearing range
Cameron smiled, “no reason. I’ll be right back.” And he went out the door, then back in practically a second later, throwing a paper airplane that landed right in front of Luke
He smiled wide, motioning for him to open it
(it’s asking Luke to go on a date with him tonight)
Cameron smiled even wider, if that was possible. “Wow, who knew that just a question could have you jumping for joy?”
Cameron made a mental note to throw paper airplanes in Luke's direction more often. “Sure!” He said, a little surprised
He kissed him back, still a little dumbfounded. A short moment later, somebody cleared their throat behind them
Cameron turned to face a very p!ssed looking guy, the same guy he’d punched after they said something unhinged about Luke. His face twisted with confusion and a tiny hint of anger
the guy squinted at Luke. “Before you continue cussing me out, I need to talk to the Yankee, about how he showed up in the middle of the night yesterday and just started beating all of us up! Yeah,” they rolled their eyes like it wasn’t a big deal, “we stole his shield and tried to kill him, but he didn’t need to break everybody’s bones and leave us all bloody injured!”
Cameron shook his head. “What the heck man, I didn’t do any of that! Are you—what are you talking about?!”
“Don’t play dumb just because you're in front of your little boyfriend. I was there.” They turned to Luke. “Get away while you still can. He’s messed up.”
Cameron looked sick. “What?! No! NO. I didn’t do any of that! I don’t know what he’s talking about—in the middle of night—beating everybody up—I don’t understand—I was with you yesterday!—“
They chuckled darkly. “Good luck with explaining, Yankee. Oh, and watch your back. We'll be getting you back for that.” And the guy stalked off
“No! Of course not! Luke, why would I do that?” He pleaded
Cameron offered his hand. “I think I have an idea.”
Cameron smiled back, happy that Luke still trusted him. “Remember how somebody left the shield in my dorm this morning? I think that has something to do with it.”
Cameron eyed him, visibly concerned
“Getting territorial now are we,” Cameron slightly smirked
(sry had to take a shower lol)“Is that so?” Cameron whispered, barely brushing against Luke's lips
Cameron kissed him slowly, not pulling away quickly and shyly this time
Cameron cupped a hand on his face softly
After a bit, Cameron pulled away for a breath
(ok bye :( Gn!)“Not sure if I want to now,” Cameron joked,
“Uh uh, I need to prove to you I’m innocent.” Cameron backed away and sped off, channeling his super solider enchanted speed(that’s ok! see you tmr :)
They arrived at Cameron's dorm, and Cameron glanced at Luke. “You don’t seem too excited about this,”
“You don’t have to follow me in if you don’t want to,” Cameron offered
Cameron wrapped his arms around Luke. “You're so sweet with just the littlest things, I should owe you a kiss.” He smiled. “This'll be over in like two seconds, I promise.”
“Yeah, you can start counting Lu,” Cameron grinned, and raced inside.
