"Wow." Brittney was impressed, "I made this in my Engineering class." She passed over a gadget to Lavender.
The Gadget clicked and spewed out some sort of mist, "Don't breathe that in." Brittney said Quickly
"It's okay." Brittney turned her gaze to Livvy, "You can leave if you want to but i'm not making you."
Alex sat hunched over her table in the bustling cafeteria, clay smeared on her fingers and remnants of earlier attempts strewn about her workspace. The air was filled with the chatter of students and the clinking of utensils, but her focus remained unwavering. With a furrowed brow, she carefully shaped the clay bowl, each push and pull a testament to her determination. Frustration bubbled up inside her as she muttered to herself, “Well damn… why can’t it just work?” Her voice was barely audible amid the noise, a mixture of hope and exasperation lacing her words as she glanced at the stubborn lump of clay that seemed to resist her every effort.
Frustration bubbled within her as she clenched the lump of clay in her hands, its cool, damp texture slipping slightly as her grip tightened. With a sudden burst of irritation, she hurled it against the wall, where it splattered, leaving a messy imprint that mirrored her chaotic emotions. Feeling overwhelmed, she buried her face in her arms on the table, her sobs escaping as quiet, shuddering breaths, each one a release of the pent-up frustration she couldn’t quite articulate. The quiet room felt heavy around her, amplifying her sense of isolation in that moment of despair.
She sat there, tears streaming down her cheeks, her breath hitching as she struggled to compose herself. “Damn… I guess I have to go clean that up now,” she uttered, her voice a mixture of frustration and resignation, as she hastily wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. The mess sprawled before her seemed overwhelming, but the weight of responsibility pressed down on her, urging her to take action despite the emotional turmoil she felt inside.
She stood completely still, her breath hitching in her throat as she turned her gaze toward Jay. The weight of unspoken words hung heavily in the air between them, and emotions threatened to spill over. Her chest tightened as she fought back the rising tide of tears, feeling the pressure of her grief churn within her, but she kept silent, desperate to regain her composure.
She ran towards the bathroom, tears streaming down her face. ``Nononono`` she choked out almost silently.
She huddled in the corner of the bathroom, her knees drawn tightly to her chest as she curled up on the cool, tiled floor. The dim light flickering above cast soft shadows on the walls, but all she could focus on was the weight of her sorrow. Quiet sobs escaped her lips, each breath shuddering with the effort to contain the overwhelming flood of emotions within her. In that moment, it felt as if she was losing herself completely, morphing into something unrecognizable. Who knows what she was becoming, trapped in a whirlwind of despair and uncertainty?
She struggled to pull herself toward the door, her arms trembling as they pushed against the floor. With every ounce of strength, she reached the handle and managed to grasp it, her fingers slipping slightly due to fatigue. As she turned the knob, the door creaked open a fraction, but before she could fully make it through, her body gave out. She fell heavily to the ground, breathless and weak, a mixture of desperation and exhaustion etched on her face.
Alex lay on the cold, hard floor, her body trembling as her eyes fluttered open and shut, fighting against the overwhelming weight of exhaustion. Her breath came in shallow gasps, each one a painful reminder of her suffering. A whimper escaped her lips, barely audible, as she tried to voice the agony coursing through her. “I-It hurts…” she managed to choke out, her voice raw and strained, echoing the desperation of her situation. The distress was etched on her pale face, and every moment felt like an eternity as she battled against the darkness creeping at the corners of her vision.
(ye- i completely forgot about it)
"E-Everywhere..." she whimpered softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Tears brimmed in her eyes as she struggled to comprehend the overwhelming reality around her. Despite the transformation that had consumed her, a flicker of her former self lingered deep within, desperately fighting to be heard. The remnants of her humanity clashed with the dark shadows that now enveloped her, leaving her feeling lost and isolated in a world that felt both familiar and alien.

She nodded slightly, a faint crease forming on her brow as she tried to recall the sensation of freedom that came with being outside the confines of the school. Memories flooded her mind—warm sunlight on her face, the gentle whisper of the wind through the trees, and the laughter of friends echoing in the open air. It felt like a distant dream now, a vivid contrast to the sterile walls and rigorous routines that surrounded her. She closed her eyes for a moment, desperately seeking to capture that feeling of liberation, the invigorating breath of fresh air, and the simple joys of a world beyond textbooks and classrooms.
“T-Trying…” she stammered, her voice trembling as she struggled to speak. Her body shook uncontrollably, each tremor a reflection of the fear coursing through her. The shadows around her deepened, creeping into her line of sight and engulfing everything. It felt as if the darkness was pressing in, threatening to swallow her whole, leaving only a void where her vision had once been. Her remaining eye fought against the encroaching blackness, but gradually, it too seemed on the brink of succumbing to the overwhelming gloom.
She shut her eyes tightly, feeling the weight of the world pressing down on her. Her breaths came in deep, ragged waves as she struggled to push aside the thoughts that clouded her mind. With every exhale, she tried to conjure an image or memory that could pierce through the fog of her worries and bring her a sense of joy. She pictured sun-drenched afternoons spent laughing with friends, the warmth of their camaraderie enveloping her like a soft blanket, and the sound of waves crashing on a distant shore, reminding her of simpler, happier times.
