the one thing I didn't like about the ending was that Aelin had to give up all her powers. like I'm not gonna lie that pissed me off so much. the whole time Aelin was talking with the gods I was stressed like I really thought they were gonna kill her and then when she lost her fire powers it left like they killed a part of her. Elena also pisses me off towards the end

Really I have never cry so much for a fictional character as I cried for the Thirteen, like even if they weren’t the main characters their loss and thinking that Manon now is like “alone” broke completely my heart

Yessss I felt very sory for Aelin!! Oh yes I hate Elena!! First that she gives in the most difficult way all the clues to Aelin, and then she passed all her trouble to Aelin and made Aelin sacrifice herself. And then when the gods betrayed Aelin and like let Erawan keep in Erilea I was like NOOOO WAYYYY I’m glad for what Aelin made to those gods.

Omg! This series is EVERYTHING!!! KoA was definitely my fave and completely ruined me!!! I still can’t get that series out of my head and I finished it earlier this year.

the 13 was so painful and they didn't even fight to win the war, they sacrificed themselves so everyone could fight another day. their sacrifice gave them that extra day so Aelin and the cadre could show up and join the fight. that fact kills me

also can we talk about when Elide saved Lorcan!? I was so freaking stressed about that the whole time!!

Yes that fact killed me too… I watched a video the other day that relates a song to Manon. Like it says “I have a feeling you’ve got everything you wanted (Manon referring to Aelin) and you don’t waste your time stuck here like me… you just think it was a small thing that happened, the world ended when it happened to me…” it’s soooo real😭😭

YEEES I've seen that video about Elide, Farasha, and Lorcan. the god that Elide and Lorcan are "connected" to/led by are lovers and Chaol calls Farasha Hella's (think that's Lorcan god) horse since she's so defiant and wild.
also Lord Lorcan Lochan kills me 😂😂😂 I also love and cried when he gave up his immortality and connected his life to Elide so that can live a life together 😭

@Zekey when I started the series I started with AB and I feel it helped me get into it better.
HoF starts a little slow but it is so good and ends on a high note. there's a lot that happens and a lot of development

I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did. it was a lot better than I thought lol

I’m currently reading the ToG series and although I do like the first book I’m having a hard time staying invested in reading it. Are there any tips to help keep focus on the book such as is it better to read the physical copy, listen to audio, or do both?

it took me months to get I over ToG. it put me in the biggest book slump

@Bre I did the audiobook and read it at the same time and it helped be stay in the story. the narrator is sooo good she does a great job!

it's like forum that you can post just about anything. there are subreddits that are like subjects and you can join them and post things about that subject. there a subreddit for all of SJMs books and then one that's for SJM

@Alexa I know, Rowan all the way for me lol, Where’s my wife?? Forever in my brain lool. I actually read AB as my fourth book and that was after reading it all my best decision as I see now, and its actually my favourite part. Chaol having his whole book wasnt so necessary I think, I mean I understand the character development and all, but was surprised a bit. But to pick something specifically I think is sooo hard because throught all series so much going on which is why these book are amazing and leave that “feeling” after you finish if you know what I mean. What way yours?
