Reader Whitehorn | 14 comments @Juani my mind stopped when i read over😂 Rowan is very underhyped because there wasnt that much of detailed relationship as we have seen in acotar series and so. But he is to me no.1 and imagine what would be if he was given the same space and dialogs as acotar characters. Still, to me he is my surname here 🤣

Juani | 199 comments Yes I was like WAIT is not overhyped is underhyped, and I corrected it immediately lol. Hey I didn’t read ACOTAR is it good? I didn’t read it because of all the smut thing… there are parts in Fourth Wing that I skipped

Reader Whitehorn | 14 comments @Juani Acotar is great but yes, its a spicy book, and throught the series you get more and more spice, especially the last one. So I dont know how much you would skip 🫣 But the story is great, character developments, still sj maas enhanced it with romance and spice

Juani | 199 comments Yes in Tog there were parts (specially in EoS) that I got traumatised lol. So now in Fourth Wung I only read dialogues when such parts are going through😬

Alexa (readscape1128) | 141 comments @readerwhitehorn is I had read AB first and I feel it helped me get into the story more. I also really liked Tower of Dawn and exploring a new world, I know it's not people's favorite and it's because Chaol is it a fan of favorite but that book made me into a Chaol lover lol I do feel that it didn't have to be that big of a book though lol
Rowan is most definitely underhyped he is my favorite SJM character Cassian is my second favorite.

Alexa (readscape1128) | 141 comments @ReaderWhitehorn I think that's part of his charm though like he doesn't have much dialogue but captivate and commands so much of the scenes. and like his character presence speaks so much.

Alexa (readscape1128) | 141 comments @Juani I think you'll be safe with the first actor book because there's almost no spice just a little bit of steam. in book 2 there is a chapter that heavily emphasizes spice and the heat ramps up a bit in each book

Juani | 199 comments Ahhh ok thanks
I focused reading young adult books and don’t like so much reading spicy books… like while I was reading Fourth Wing I had to skip one or two parts lol

Alexa (readscape1128) | 141 comments I think Fourth Wing is a little spicer than the first acotar book and the 2nd book acomaf is probably just as spice as Fourth Wing

Juani | 199 comments And do you think that is as a good as the ToG series? Because I can think of adding it to my reading list.

message 362: by Alexa (new)

Alexa (readscape1128) | 141 comments ummm that's a good question. not entirely sure how to answer only because they're so different despite being by the same author and the vibes and story progression between both series are so different.
ToG is more fantasy with a touch of romance that focuses heavily on Aelin's journey, whereas acorat is more of a romantasy. it has fantasy and a lot of romance in it.
