Just noticed, I've come up as 'Ian' which is fine as it is my first name which I rarely use! Just to really confuse the issue, I write my thrillers as 'Timothy Pilgrim' and my gardening 'grow your own' book under Paul Rix. Confused? join the club!!

I'm a new member. All my previous non-fiction books were published by trade publishers, but I've just self-published a novel. It's quite an adventure. This group is a very interesting idea, and I look forward to reading what people are thinking about.

My novel is titled "The Land of Eighteen Dreams" It's narrated by a young girl who grows to adulthood aided by the dramatic tales she hears from her grandfather.

If interested, my novel is titled "Vengeance of the Wolf", it is a Horror/Thriller novel.

I am also about to release my new Sci-fi novel, "Tinker Smith & the Conspiracy of OZ". And if I wasn't busy enough, :) I am featuring the first chapter of my Fantasy novel, "The Emerald Dragon" this Friday on my blog and then a chapter every Friday after that as I'm writing it!

Hello Everyone!

Once I found out how to negotiate all the "clicks and clacks" of Goodreads, its great forums have become such a habit that I sometimes forget that I am supposed to be writing! I am thankful for making new friends, learning others' views, contributing to their thoughts on reading and writing. I am posting my novel in the Historical Fiction part; it is especially for those interested in Ancient Egypt.

And thank you for the compliment on the Constellation Chronicles cover design. Good cover artists are wonderful to find.

I think it'd be cool to collaborate with a cover artist, to create something really neat looking. For my book I just used Createspace's cover maker, which was fine as I own the image on the cover and it's simple enough to my liking. I guess that's the important part.
