I also look forward to having intelligent discussion concerning books and perhaps my own writings. I am always open to as much constructive criticism as possible.

Ah yes, I thoroughly enjoy both reading and writing.

hey there Charisma, if you'd like to add me as a friend on here that would be ok. I'd like to read a bit of what you've written and maybe I can review it sometime.

I will definitely add you as a friend and would greatly appreciate any feedback you would offer me on my submissions.

I just recently joined goodreads and found this amazing group. I love all the support that everyone shows each other, and I'm really excited to be here. I'm writing under the pen-name Claire Avery and my first novel is coming out in June. I've already seen so many helpful tips (enjoyed the post about tagging ... had absolutely no idea how that worked ;))
Look forward to good conversations ...

Welcome Claire! I hope you find this place as enjoyable as I do.
Hi Nanette,
If you click on the "add book/author" field just about the comment box, you can type your book's title and post the link as well as the cover.
If you want a bigger picture, you can upload it on a photosharing site (such as photobucket.com) and then copy the coding they give you and past it in the text portion of the comment box on Goodreads. (This second method is a bit more technical, so you might want to try the first way first.)

Hi Mandy,
Thank you for the welcome. Your blog is amazing, btw!

Hi Steven,
Was the contest put on by the author?
If so, you can look her/him up on Goodreads and send an email.

Hi Steve,
When you say the contest was on "here," do you mean the Goodreads giveaway section (where Goodreads has dozens of books listed)?
If the contest was on this group, let me know the folder and the title of the post and I'll leave a comment for Justin or whoever started the drawing. (Because Justin only has the option of "fan" on his profile, I don't know of another way I can contact him.)
If it's the Goodreads giveaway section, you can actually report this to the Goodreads admin staff and they'll let the author/publisher know.
I hope this helps
-Vince
