Hi! My name is Lisa and I have been reading Oprah's book recommendations from the start of her club! I enjoy every one, and usually a recommendation from oprah is an automatic purchase for my collection. I am currently behind on my reading due to two small children both under 2, as well as being a full time college student again, but I'm looking forward to some time to get lost in my wonderful books again soon, as well as interacting in discussion on some of the interesting reads as well.

My first Oprah book club purchase was She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. I usually shop for second hand books every couple of weeks, and I have quite a few of the Oprah's book club. The books has not let me down yet. I'd like to ask others what their favorite or best ones?

I graduated with top honors from VJTI, one of the oldest (founded in 1887) engineering colleges in Asia. "Breaking the Fall" is a novel based on my over 25 years of experience as a social worker in the Chicago area. In it, you will meet people who are simultaneously in our midst and hidden from our real view.
