I'll have to look into that, because I don't think my library has it.

I couldn't get it through my library or inter library loan. Then when I saw it was cheap I ordered it. Hopefully I can get to it towards the end of the week.

The only book I haven't read is On the Edge so I'll read that this month.

That would be why we can't find it in our libraries.

My thoughts on this story is that it was very different at the beginning, but quickly devolved into a standard straight romance that in the end was a little schmaltzy and just ok. I think the whole concept of the families is an interesting one and given time like in a full length novel there would have been a lot to explore with that, the world, and the modifications and special powers that was talked about.
I am interested to see what those that choose this story think.

Magic Bites
Magic Burns
Magic Strikes
On the Edge
Silent Blade
Currently I'm about 2/3rds of the way through On the Edge and really enjoying it!

I thought this book was really interesting in the way the author seperated the world into multiple dimensions. The story line was well writen and evenly paced, I look forward to seeing how the next installment comes along.

Magic Bites
Magic Burns
Magic Strikes
Silent Blade
Just finished reading On the Edge and really enjoyed it! Great characters and story. Loved the two little brothers! They kept me laughing. I'm looking forward to the next book with William in it!
Up next, I think is Silent Blade.
I had previously read On the Edge (it is now one of my favorite books) and Silent Blade is a great short story. As part of the BOM I started reading Magic Bites and am hooked, I should be starting the third book tomorrow so I should have all her books read by the end of the month

Magic Bites
Magic Burns
Magic Strikes
Finally got around to reading Silent Blade. It was pretty fun. I actually wish that she had done it as a full length novel though. I think that would have been a great story! Maybe this story will get her started on writing another series, one set in this world!

Yeah! More than half way done!

For February, to complete the challenge you need to read one book by Ilona Andrews. Of course, if you want to read more than one, that's great too!
In this thread, please post which book you are planning on reading, and then when you are done with it, let us know how it was!
If you have any questions about this, please let Jess or I know! Have fun reading!
Here is a list of the books that Ilona Andrews currently has published:
Magic Bites (Kate Daniels #1)
Magic Burns (Kate Daniels #2)
Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels #3)
On the Edge (The Edge #1)
Silent Blade
FYI - Although I am posting this discussion right now, it wont be open for comments until February.
