More Books for Your Shelf

I just pre-ordered

Carrie....how do you strip the DRM? I have a Kindle but I have purchased e-books from other sites where I thought I was just getting a PDF/EPub file but I cannot read them on the Kindle which had a native PDF reader....

I know how to the azw files with the kindle for pc program. All I did to find out how was google it. I googled strip drm azw (kindle file). I know there are ways to strip B&N drm, and I know there are people that can do library books so they can read them on their kindle.
I suggest looking around the web. Keep in mind it is borderline illegal in some places (not here in Canada). They need to change the laws. I understand some of the reasons behind it, but did you know even the author can't sell their books without drm if the seller puts it on?
Epub cannot be read on the Kindle, so if you need to convert it there is a free program called Calibre that converts to mobi for your kindle. It won't strip the drm though.

Anywho, I just bought

Thanks Carrie.....I will google it I don't want to do anything with the AZW files but I do have some epub books from B&N and others that I thought I could just convert to PDF to read on my kindle.....I will try the Calibre program...I don't necessarily want to take away the DRM just be able to put the book in a format that I can read on the kindle.

They get better. de la Cruz has issues with the climax of her books. She has this big build and then they just end quickly. With each book she learns to draw it out a bit more and keep the excitement going for a little while longer.

I usually buy the BB books at Costco, but maybe I'll do ebook Misguided Angel. Hmmmmmmm...

Sometimes they're only a dollar cheaper, but sometimes they're super cheap. I'll only get them if they're in perfect condition though. I generally use the used store to pick up books that look interesting, but aren't something I'd buy. Or something the library doesn't carry.

Never heard of either of them, but got them from the used book store."
I have read both of these series. Am getting ready to read the 3rd one from Robertson. I think the 3rd or 4th just came out from Weldon and I am waiting for it from the library.

I have Kisses From Hell waiting for me at the library right now.
I normally get 1 or 2 good stories out of anthologies and the rest are junk. I'm saving Kisses for my October read.

The Nook does have a small LCD display that's in color, so you can see the cover. It's just not in great detail.
I actually won't buy BD. I'll read the next one, but I won't pay for it. I've been doing good with my checkouts being between 10-20 recently. They were a bit higher for a while. I got down to 2 one day and then decided to read the Kenyon series and that killed it.

Ethan sounded like a girl, but no book can be perfect...

I checked it out months ago and only got a chapter into it before taking it back. It was another one of those instances where I had too many books to read and not enough time.
Just curious if it's worth checking out again sometime.

&& I know many people had complaints about Ethan sounding like a girl, but I really enjoyed his POV. . .O.o

I think I've only watched one of those! Yay now I have something to do while waiting for the release. :)

The second one was the one I watched on Becca's site (the one where it's her playing Nora.) I liked the Patch one a lot more. :D
My favorite one is also the Patch one. :D

I didn't realize I still had plenty of time for Crescendo. I just saw that it wasn't expensive and grabbed it while I could.
