Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group discussion

Tall, Dark, and Dangerous series. by Suzanne Brockmann. I think I skipped over this series because of the first print covers, I really shouldn't judge a book by its cover! Then again that's how I usually find my books. I've read Frisco's Kid, Everyday Average Jones, Prince Joe and now I'm going to read the rest in order. I'm currently reading Forever Blue.

I started that series awhile back and it somehow got pushed to the bottom of my tbr. I think SB is one of those authors that has always been fabulous, even in her early years. The cheesy covers hide some really great stories!!

I'm reading Loving getting back to Cat and Bones...there's just something so comfortable about their relationship. It's a nice change from angsty romances. This is my first Diana Palmer book, but I've heard many good things!!

I'm about half way through and I have to say I'm not caring for the female character. I think she's just cruel to the dangerous hero of this book.

I'm in the minority in not liking that book at all, Alisa.

I still haven't read it yet! Too much hype and controversy. I wanted to wait until the crazy died down! Just like with Fifty, every YA novel is compared to Beautiful Disaster.

I'm reading now, which I'm enjoying just as much as the first one! Romeo is a bona-fide bad boy and I'm loving him!

Cat & Bones! I love that series!

Finished , loved it. Started , so far its really good.

Currently reading Lisa Kleypas 'Wallflower' series. I'm almost finished with Devil in Winter... Sebastian = one of the reasons why I joined this group. Mmm!

ohhh you are so right!!!, but how can anyone stop reading a book they really enjoy?

I have to fiqure out what to read.....

I finished Hold Me Closer, Necromancer, and I really liked it. I gave it 4.5 stars. This was released as a YA book, but I think it could have easily been an adult UF novel.

me too for some reason I was okay with the 1st half but then it just sort of fell for me!

I finished Wolf's Hour late last night and it was excellent. Michael definitely qualifies as a Grade A Kickbutt Hero! I am now reading The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson.

Yup! I think that the publishers work really hard to make those YA books very appealing, with the beautiful covers!

Hey, Alisa! I've been eyeballing those for a bit. What's the steam factor? From what I gather, there isn't much for the first couple of books. Which is fine, as long as it leads to something.

And how did you like the first?

I'm reading and listening to to try to finish up a UF challenge

And I'm reading to my girls and husband. We're slowly working our way through this amazing series and loving it. I think we all appreciate the things that we have a bit more after each reading session. The Ingalls family was so content with almost no possessions.

Just finished up with which was good though sometimes hard to read because of some of the content

I've actually really liked this series. The steam factor is low at the start and increases as the books go on. It does pick up as their relationship grows/changes. Heller is a really interesting character. He's not the typical alpha male that recognizes the error of his way and embraces being a better person. Heller does some seriously crazy/bad things but you still find yourself really drawn to him. There are some moments of sweet love & some moments of pure dysfunction. Each book gets better w/ character development & I liked books 3 & 4 best. I'ver read all four now & will definately get the next one. The first one is free so you should try it.

I just finished and holy crap... SUCH a good story... A 5 star read for me

I LOVE this series!! I read the entire series in about 4 days. I cannot wait until the next one comes out!!!

Just starting the second book in this series, I didn't really enjoy the first book but I've been told the series gets better. Besides I got them in a bundle so I will give it a go. But I really hate first person pov books, and Mac really got on my nerves in the first.

Stayed up half the night reading ...............now I have a book hang over :(
