Abhipsa Mishra (anawitch1905) | 9 comments McGonagall: "Have a biscuit, Potter." it was the most unexpected line ever :D
Also, in the chapter King's Cross when dumbledore says, "Ofcourse its happenining inside your head Harry, but why on earth should that mean its not real?" :)

That's also my favorite :D
Sometimes I like to think that just because what I'm reading is only happening in a book doesn't mean its not real :D

Devon (mymindpalace) | 1 comments Dumbledore says to Harry in the imaginary King's Cross Station, "Of course this is happening inside your head Harry, but why should that mean it is not real?"

Matthew Behling (MattyKB) | 2 comments "Not my daughter, you bitch!" ...it was about time someone called Bellatrix out to her face. :) Plus it emphazized how the series had grown more adult with each book.

Although it doesn't have it in the book:

When Ginny says "Zip me up" and Harry comes over to her and they start to kiss, George walks in the room and puts his toothbrush in his hole, and Ginny and Harry turn around and he says, "Morning", then winks. HA HA HA so hilarious! :)

"I've always wanted to use that spell!" Minerva McGonagall

Anytime Ron says "Bloody Hell"

Anything Fred and George either say in unison or tag-team.

"Not my daughter you bitch!" Molly Weasley

Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git.

Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor.

Mr. Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball."
That is so funny!!!

۪H۫۰۪a۫۰۪l۫۰۪e۫۰۪y۫۰ | 37 comments I love the saying that Molly Weasly said " Not my daughter you Bi*#@!"

"Morning" :)

message 266: by [deleted user] (new)

I love the bit in the film where Harry and Ginny are snogging, and then George comes in and says "Morning!"

message 267: by [deleted user] (new)

And then the part in the sixth one where McGonnagal says "Why is it always you three?"
And then Ron says "I've been asking myself the same question for six years."

message 268: by Tan (new)

Tan (tangible_tales) | 1 comments When Hermione says : "What an idiot" in the first movie in the Quidditch lesson and when Ron says : "Bloody hell..." and when George says : " mooorning" In deathly hallows when Ginny and harry are kissing with the toothbrush poked in the ear less place and last but not the least : "Turn to page 394" :)

message 270: by Loretta (new)

Loretta | 14 comments From book one it's the part where Hermione pulls out this huge book that she checked out at the library to do some research and she says "I checked this out for a bit of light reading" and Ron goes "this is light???!!!"

From book two it's the part where Hermione says "why didnt u tell us u were a parslemouth"

From book three it's the part where Draco was scratched by the Hippagriff and he's carrying on saying "ah it killed me"

In book four it's the part where professor Mcgonnagle says we don't want u acting like a "babbling bunch of baboons" and then either Fred or George challenges his twin to say it five times fast.

In book five it's the part where umbridge is interrogating snape and she says "you applied for the dark arts position five times". And snape says " yes" then umbridge replies "but u were unsuccessful" and snape goes "obviously"

In book six it's the part where Draco tells snape he was chosen to do something for the dark lord and then snape says "I swore to protect you I made the i breakable vow" and then Draco says "I don't need protection"
Another from book six would be Ron's "I'm dead awful a potions sir, a menace actually". Another would be the weasley twins telling Ron that because hes there brother he has to pay ten galleons instead of five for something n there store.

In the 7th book it was Molly's "not my daughter u bitch"

message 272: by Helena (new)

Helena Ravn I just adore the exchange between Percy and the twins in the beginning of book one:
"Oh, are you a prefect, Percy?" said one of the twins, with an air of great surprise. "You should have said something, we had no idea."
"Hang on, I think I remember him saying something about it," said the other twin. "Once-"
"Or twice-"
"A minute-"
"All summer-"
"Oh, shut up," said Percy the Prefect.”
It just always makes me smile :)

Okay, for funny:
"Do you remember me telling you we are practicing nonverbal spells, Potter?"
"Yes," says Harry.
"Yes, sir."
"There's no need to call me 'sir,' Professor."

“Are you planning to follow a career in Magical Law, Miss Granger?” asked Scrimgeour.
“No, I’m not,” retorted Hermione. “I’m hoping to do some good in the world!”

Mrs. Weasley says, "Oh, that's everyone in the family!" And Fred says, "What are George and I? Neighbors?"

when they're all Harry, and Fred and George turn to each other and say, "Oi! We're Identical!"

"You haven't got a letter on yours. She must think you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid. We know our names are Gred and Feorge."

And then for the sentimental + just awesome
"NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH"

“Books and cleverness. There are more important things - friendship and bravery.”Hermione

“The world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters. We have all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the power we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.” (Sirius Black)

"Fear of a name increases fear of a thing itself." (Albus Dumbledore)

"Humans have a knack for choosing precisely the things that are worst for them." (Albus Dumbledore)

Those are really good but to be perfectly honest, basically any line anyone ever says.

LoveBooksAndCats | 2 comments Oh there are so many of them so so many. I have read each book so many times that can't remember and when now I need lines I m unable to find in my brain.
Ok firstly u know poo one. Then that line what abt me nd George are we neighbors.
Then most of them will be serious

1-It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well.

2- I am not worried harry. I am with you
3- You must have told her you think I am ugly.
I don't think you are.
Said to harry by Hermione in OoP n harry replied the 2nd line
4-“It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.”
5-Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
"After all this time?"
"Always," said Snape.”
It still cause my eyes tear up

The first book and

"Harry, you're a wizard."

This is my favorite quote because it is abrupt, sudden, and quite surprising, as well as hilariously funny when you read and see the others reaction.

The dialogues between the twins and Percy are my favorite too. Especially in the 4th book "Oh shut up, Weatherby," said Fred." Also when after Percy's long speech Bill says "Do us a favor, Perce," said Bill, yawning, "and shut up."
