I guess with any artist the work is the fun part, rejection your worst fear, but advertising and publicity are truly the most formidable obstacles a writer must navigate. Who, what, when, where, why, and how much have become dirty words. Interrogatives' that befuddle my brain and make me feel cheep and sleazy as I take the walk of shame to my office each day. In truth I started writing not for fame and fortune but because I wanted to read something that made me feel sexy.
