I am currently reading nothing because I have a giant library fine and I can't check out books until I pay it off. Roar.

Alrighty, I am at last giving it another try ... after nine years.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
It's cute so far ... Her writing bugs me, but I've been told it gets better.

Ugh, her writing style gets on my nerves too.
I don't really see why writing something in the back of a car should change her writing style any.
I paid off my 40 dollar fine! And now I'm reading:
I Do! (Diary of a Teenage Girl: Caitlin, Book 5)
It's this serious I was obsessed with this summer/ last spring and I just found the last book that wasn't originally going to be part of the series and it's like awh. Old me! I loff it.

Yea, pretty much :)

Hehehehe. The Last Song. I felt so bad because I laughed the whole time and then was relieved when (view spoiler) because I thought something bad was going to happen to the turtles XD

That's pretty much what I was like

Why does her location matter? I'm sure she didn't edit it from the back of her car.

UGH, that book. Well, the thing is ... that book was literally only written so that James Frey could get a movie deal out of it. It pisses me off so much.
Just read this, and you'll see what I mean: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001...

I have no desire to see "I Am Number Four" ... However I'm very excited to see "Beastly" <3

I'm only about 40 pages in, and there's no major drama so far. Jane's ill and there's a lot of banter.
I keep telling myself I shouldn't expect her to write anything else, being a woman in such a society when women weren't expected to write novels and such, but, still.

Well uh ... There's not any "major" drama really. I mean, nothing EXPLODES. But it's a funny book, cute romance and whatnot. :]

I'm not allowed to see I Am Number Four. But I'm going to Beastly when it comes out. I loved that book, anyways. :)

Yeah. It's quite insightful into Georgian society to boot, more so than any historical fiction could be.

I have the BBC adaptation on DVD. The old one with Colin Firth. I haven't seen it yet, though. My correspondence course tutor sent it through with my copy of the book. Bizarre.

Yea, I can tell. THe writing isn't anything special, so I'm just waiting for the plot to get interesting.

I'm going to borrow it from my friendio...when I remember to ask. :P
I think I'll get it from the library. Although there's probably a giant line because of the movie. D:

It looks really cute
Plus plus plus Emmie's friend told her it reminded her of Emmie's writing style. So I need to scope it out.

Haaa. I doubt it. The book was only written to be turned into a movie, basically. *grumbles* The whole thing is screwed up.

Bahahahahaha. We fail, Autumn. But that's okay. Beastly is AMAZING. <3 I can't wait to see the movie.
Right now I am reading The Juliet Club

I'm reading Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke! So far it seems to be one of those rare sci-fi novels that focuses more on philosophy than the science aspects, giving a really thought provoking story about evolution.
