It's cute so far ... Her writing bugs me, but I've been told it gets better.
Well, she wrote the first book in the back of her car, so you've gotta cut her some slack.

Ugh, her writing style gets on my nerves too.
I don't really see why writing something in the back of a car should change her writing style any.

UGH, that book. Well, the thing is ... that book was literally only written so that James Frey could get a movie deal out of it. It pisses me off so much.

I suppose.I'm only about 40 pages in, and there's no major drama so far. Jane's ill and there's a lot of banter.
I keep telling myself I shouldn't expect her to write anything else, being a woman in such a society when women weren't expected to write novels and such, but, still.

I'm not allowed to see I Am Number Four. But I'm going to Beastly when it comes out. I loved that book, anyways. :)

I tried to read it... it didn't really hold my interest even though I loved the movie.

I have the BBC adaptation on DVD. The old one with Colin Firth. I haven't seen it yet, though. My correspondence course tutor sent it through with my copy of the book. Bizarre.
