The first pages failed to grab me. Even though I'm pretty sure the minor twist was supposed to. I guess I shouldn't have picked it based on its cover. ;P

Yes, I do feel a bit cynical today. Thanks for asking! :D

Emily Johnson | 211 comments I've read Ophelia and I loved it. Maria, do you know the name of her other book, so I could look it up?

I really like the style and the boy seems like someone I'd be friends with.

Ohh, my mom and dad have an entire shelf dedicated to Robert Ludlum books.

I'm reading Labyrinths by Jorge Luis Borges. Honestly I don't see how somebody could read this man's work and not be influenced by it in some way. It's just so...strange.

I read Beastly today. My expectations were set too high :P Not to say that it was bad, no, it was very good. But I imagined it to be a lot cuter.

I saw that movie two weekends ago! One of the dance moves in there is actually in my recital dance! <~~the part that Jordan didn't care about in the movie XD

Didn't you think the ending was kind of anti-climatic, though? It just kind of ended there and I was like... *twiddle thumbs* "So what now?"

I read like the first three pages of that at the library. I couldn't take it out, because I was in another county where my library card wasn't valid. D:

I thought the ending was cool, but I guess it's kinda one of those movies you have to see three times to get, becuase I had no idea what was going on with the hats and whatnot.

Oh, I liked that book … for the most part. Had some issues with the characters though. :/

Haha, my school's network blocks the cover of that book. So where the cover would be it just says IMAGE BLOCKED in big scary letters. It's weird. O_o

Awwww *pat pat* I did not cry, but I hardly ever cry at books. However, I totally did not breathe for like the last 50 pages or so. It was mad intense, duuude.

message 294: by Autumn (new)

Autumn (flwurautumn) | 4987 comments I knowww. I blew off everything I had to do for those last pages. Ahhh. They're sooooooo good.

I barely cry at books either. But I love Sam a little bit too much. So I cried.
