I first read this amazing series in January of 2019, and I became obsessed. I completed the series in six days.

I was ten or eleven when I started reading the series. My Portuguese teacher brought the book to class and started reading to us. I felt curious and decided to purchased the book. I felt in love instantly! And yes, I read them in order, before the movies.

i'm currently reading the first book in english. ( i'm from germany)
I watched all movies, but i wanted to dive deep into the harry potter universe and the magical feeling of hogwarts.
i turned 24 in july.
i don't know, why i just started reading again, i think it's the autumn "vibe".

I've seen some parts from the Chamber of Secrets movie years before, because our English language teacher brought it to class. I wasn't interested in the story back then, but now it's one of my favourites.

Still it’s a wonderful nostalgia trip and I loved it.

I'm 27 right now, I watched all the movies before (more than once!), but it wasn't enough for me, I wanted to know much more details about the Harry Potter world, this amazing magical world.

I love them and they will always be in my heart, they are my childhood and my comfort.
My little sister then started reading the Harry Potter books so now she asks me about things she doesn´t understand and i can finally show off my Harry Potter knowlage.

I first read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone only two years ago, off an e-book app. I didn’t read more books in that series until July 2021, when I was on vacation in TN and my uncle let me borrow the books.
You should understand something. I’m a Christian but I DON’T hate Harry Potter at all, nor think him evil, I confess to being among those kind of Christian who believe otherwise simply by believing hearsay or a stupid email circulated by a fellow believer who didn’t bother to read the books or check into the origins of the email that was written because that believer read a satirical newspaper and took it seriously.
But not anymore, thanks to Connie Neal’s What’s a Christian to do with Harry Potter? That book was a real eye-opener and answered all my questions not only about why the series became such a hubbub but also why they were popular. Now I’m the only member in my immediate family who’s pro-Harry and the rest of my family think I’ve gone crazy. But they don’t know the truth, so I’m willing to cut them slack.
And, not to mention, I’ve got other family members on both sides who love the stories. So I’m no lone wolf in this. Even though it stinks not to be able to rave to my parents about how super the stories are - but please don’t think bad of them. I don’t and nor should you. To each one his own opinion!
Anyway, I love Harry Potter. It’ll always be my favorite series. And I can’t wait to read how it all ends, even to watch all the movies.
My favorite book so far? The Goblet of Fire is amazing but I think I lean toward The Order of the Phoenix. And if I get to read The Deathly Hallows in the near future, I believe that’ll be my favorite HP book too.
See you at Platform Nine and Three Quarters!
