Yeah. I don't know who he thought he was kidding, i.e. Eragon, Aragorn.

It's not to bad in Eragon, but Eldest and Brisingr (kind of) it's annoying. He could have made that into a great series. I do like Eragon still. It's a good story. I still read that one. I do read Eldest too anyway but it isn't as enjoyable.

Eragon though is supposed to be Dragon with the first letter as the next one in the alphabet (if you understand), so the next letter (from D) is E. Replace the "D" in dragon with "E" and it's Eragon. That's pretty clever of him.

Back to books! I like The Silmarillion but we'd have to read The Lord of the Rings before we read that.

I don't think so. The Silmarillion would be awesome. It would be a great book to discuss because it's so hard and a fictional history book.

The books are AMAZING!!!!!! I hate the movie compared to the books (and I love the movies).

I am a huge Tolkien fan. I read LOTR in 5th grade. I read them again for the next two years. I read The Silmarillion in 7th grade. I'm reading them again and I'll read Unfinished Tales and The Histories of Middle Earth.

I only read the Hobbit and the LOTR trilogy.

If you like those you should try The Silmarillion.

Yeah, my opinion exactly! We read it in English class, and we were all discussing how Wells predicts a nuclear apocalypse or something as shown by the last period the Time Traveler visits.

Cool! I read 3 H.G. Wells books this year. Two in January and I just finished The Invisible Man.

The Percy Jackson series, The Hunger Games series, Artemis Fowl series, um... The Last Dragon, Levaithan, uh... the Uglies series... can't think of any more at the top of my head.

Hmm... it depends on who you ask. I'm a bit more critical of books since I've read a lot. The prose was... all right. But personally, I disliked the content. I'm not a big fan of children killing other children.
