There's 25 alternates and I've been going to random.org and use their number generator. 16 is off the list now. If it manages to pick one of the book shelves provide the link if you can.

nope. I won't be up at midnight, but I will be up at 4 to take my husband to the airport for a 6am flight. So I will check on it then if it hasn't been done. I will.

Off topic kind of: I was the last person in my SSS group to post the book (Team 7:deadly sins). Why was I getting pm's from group members asking how my book was going? when did I think I'll be done etc. I had to laugh, because I am usually stalking group members but finishing my book on Tues was way behind the rest of the group :D
They were "encouraging" me etc. Then Pat pm'd me on Tuesday was like "get off goodreads and finish your book". LMAO.

Well, this challenge has all the heavy hitters, so when i looked at groups, people had reviews up that same day. They were on it.
I noticed one group had everyone reading alternatives. I have been keeping books I like just because they are numbers in series :D

I'm very pleased and surprised with how many people were on their game this first roll. I had to go alternate this week. I don't have a single six that I'm currently up to without doing a reread.

I'm about to go through my TBR...well I was until I realized how many are there...and organize my series books so I know what I have. It was sucky, but also kind of nice to start out with a 1 this week.

I'm worried about being done on the Thursday roll for Sunday. Hubby has decided he wants to go into the storage auction business. Guess who gets to deal with the nitpicking stuff ME! There's potential to make some extra money so I'm not complaining but seriously I already have my hands full with our business and meanwhile my garage looks like a storage unit....

I made a list with all my "next in series" books listed by number, too - I've been wanting to catch up on a bunch of series anyway, so this is pretty much perfect. :D Everyone else on my team went for the alternate this time, but I'll try to stick with series books as much as possible - I have so many of those lying around, I'll probably still have a huge list left after the game. XD

The buddy reads at PKC have really helped keep me current with my series this year. My Thursday call reads are gonna have to be short. I don't want to be the one posting my review Sunday am while everyone is waiting to roll and read lol.

I am going to try and stick with series as much as possible too, but I don't think I have any when we get to the higher numbers...or not enough to last the whole game.

Yeah hubby does too Paris. We got a good unit nothing antique in it though. It's really tedious, it'd be better if you had a store you could sell out of.

All of them are ten times better than Dave. So glad he got fired. Maybe you can make friends with Barry. That guy is a hoot. And Darryl...he's such a boob it's hilarious.

Hey do you have any tricks on how to figure out page length of a book if it's not listed on GR or Amazon and it's an e-book?

I was thinking the file size maybe?!

Some of the indie books are like that. I'm not sure either of a fail proof way. A lot of book it's easy to tell its long enough by the location pages.

I was looking at file size. A 160 page book was like 400+ gb and then a 500 page book was like 2000 gb

400 page books are usually 7k odd on your location on a kindle.

Cool go ahead with the alternate I'll be asleep. If you want to archive the WWGRF knock yourself out I just haven't gotten around to it. I usually try to set up the BR challenge around the 15th -20th or so to give everyone time to find a buddy.

I put up the Discussion and Sign up threads for the Buddy Read, but I'm having some major problems with GR at the moment - the entire site isn't displaying correctly, I can't use the add book/author function, edit posts or send messages to the group. T_T Could one of you send out the notification to everyone that sign ups are now open?
I'll see tonight whether my live-in IT guy can do something about the mess I'm seeing whenever I open GR right now. *sigh*
