What do you think about it? I am really looking forward to the two latest books. I am still waiting for the library to finish processing the books.

I'm almost done and am enjoying it. It's one of the better novellas.

I'm only up to book four, and was wondering whether you read them continuously, or whether you read a few then read something else before continuing on again? They are a very addictive read!

My goal in the beginning of the yr was to read the series back to back for the first. I read probably the 1st 10-11 books back to back then I had to take a break. The cases and characters started to get mixed in my head. So I started reading 3 books back to back then reading something else.

Thanks Maggie. I have read three books and think I might read something else to break it up. It's just what to start on next - so many options!

Maggie, that's exactly what I do...read 3 and break and then repeat....even now when I'm rereading, I break it up with lots of other books.

I will try and catch up!! How long do you spend on each book?

We go pretty slow. We have pretty much finished discussing Rapture but have not started Ceremony yet. All of us have other books to read so we just take all the time everyone needs and don't push it. We will take a week or so reading and start discussing it whenever anybody starts commenting. We do that until everyone who wants to participate is ready to move on. A lot of us are rereading the series...it's really been fun taking our time and talking about a lot of the little things that are sometimes missed the first time through. We also have some first time readers and enjoy talking about it and getting that "fresh" perspective again! Hop on board when you're ready! Excited to have you.

Well, I have compulsive qualities to my personality so of course I read them back to back, 35 books at the time, including the novellas. I was a bit obsessed and it was pre-Goodreads and Shelfari so I didn't have a TBR shelf at all. Even now, I would be hard-pressed to do it any other way as I LOVE immersing myself in the characters and story of a series but especially this one.

How many books were in the series at the time you first read them, Jonetta?

I especially like the beginning of this story.

Both Holiday and Midnight. Although I have read many of the others lately. I can't seem to get enough of the in death series.

Trying to finish THANKLESS IN DEATH. This the first time in a long time that I haven't finished an IN DEATH in one sitting or one or two sittings.

Just finished Holiday and starting Midnight.

I started Holiday yesterday and I'm four chapters from the end. Great story.
