Now that would be a fantasy story.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments yeah - i suppose you want to keep it at least a bit believable

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments My books should have been taken up by Harper True Life.

message 356: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments I really liked Back to Bass, but I think I'm going with 'Bass Instinct' for book 4.

Maybe it will show up on all the Sharon Stone searches!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Maybe if you have a character called Shanon Stone it would help...

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Help me get my ass sued off, yes!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments How would you manage without your poor donkey??

message 360: by M.T. (new)

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 8049 comments Surely you could call her Shannon Rock and get away with it couldn't you?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I had a character called Perry Trachett in my short story, and a reference to Dizzyland. Seems to be ok so far...

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments When I needed a name for a luscious blonde, I went with a gorgeous Norse Goddess.

Call me sexist, I don't care!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Why not a gorgeous Welsh goddess?

Jim | 21812 comments Jim wrote: "Gingerlily (or Cyberlily..) wrote: "Why not a gorgeous Welsh goddess?"

There is fantasy and then there is just being plain ridiculous :-)"

Chapel doesn't do goddesses

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments How about this one

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fuVkEdeAoGA...

Rhiannon - goddess of the moon and horses.

message 366: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21812 comments Nah she's just Rigantona, some Gallic lass. Looking at the carving some illiterate has been worshipping Roman cavalry tombstones again :-))

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Not sure they would be worth worshipping - you don't get much back from roman horses.

message 368: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Rigantona?

The goddess of really big pasta?

message 369: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Sphia Loren didn't do too badly on pasta.

message 370: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Sitting beside my advertising banner whilst a photographer shoved her lens in my face was a bizzarre experience.

message 371: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Bet you could use a bonk about now.

*bonk*

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments *bonk-flash*

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments *Grabs flash light*

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Oh dear, your thread has flashers in it now.

Oh, and happy december.

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Beware, GL. If you start singing Noddy Holder, I'll send someone to play the drums -loudly- outside your window. All night.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I would rather go back to that job for another 26 years than sing any form of christmas song whatsoever before at least christmas eve

message 377: by M.T. (new)

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 8049 comments We're never here for Christmas so what's the point.

It's all very well for those that can flee to the sunshine.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I don't know where I will be for christmas.

Er hem... Scotland. Last time we drove the last 60 miles through a blizzard on a snow choked road with the a sheer drop into the river Tweed one side (our side) for most of the way. I saw my first real icebergs, also in the Tweed... I kid you not they were even light blue.

I'm hoping it will be a tad warmer this year.

Cheers

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 8049 comments But I'm not holding my breath! Phnark.

message 382: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Ah, but sunshine and icebergs are not mutually exclusive.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I remember being in Norway and having a snowball fight dressed in shorts and tshirts.

message 384: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21812 comments I remember sitting on a snowfield in Iceland in shorts and tshirt, eating my lunch and topping up the tan :-)

message 385: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments I'm green in jealousy.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Two Christmases ago I was on a beach in India for Christmas.

Actually, I've had several beach Christmases. Think I'll start planning for another for next year.

I fancy Indonesia.

message 388: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Barry Island has a beach, Patti.

You could spend Christmas day there.

message 389: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments For a given definition of 'beach.' Or indeed, 'spend.'

message 390: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments There's sand. There's sea. And I'm sure Patti is au fait with 'spend'.....

message 391: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Oh yes. Me in my kiss me quick hat, clutching my bag of 2pees.

Cockles and wee donuts for dinner.

Merryhoho.

message 392: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments See, guys?

Told you Patti would be up for that!

message 393: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Absolutely.

Perhaps I'll get a festive tattoo as well.

message 394: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Yay!

message 395: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments A dragon with antlers?

message 396: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments How about a dragon with a bass guitar? There's a guy in the states who asked me if he could use the cover pic on Mystic Accountants as a tattoo.

Weird.

message 397: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Nothing stranger than folk.

Must say I'm looking forward to the drive over the bridge. Have they pushed the price up again?

message 398: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Yes. But they accept cards, now.

message 399: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Christmas cards? I'm at 91% with The Vampire Mechanic - stop distracting me!

message 400: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments How much is it now?

I prefer digging through Dave's pockets for change while he drives. ;)

Put your fingers in your ears ignite. Sheesh
