First off, I couldn't think of a proper April Fools Day Joke to play on you all, but I'll cogitate. First, today's goodies. I've got 5 sets of the Fallen series in paperback -- all four books. I'll probably have to limit this to the US because sending 4 paperbacks to Australia or whoever would be just too expensive, but trust me, these books are cool. Fallen Angels whose curse is to drink blood to survive (and I did a lot of research on the purged books of the bible, etc.). I wanted a reason a benevolent and loving god would go around smiting things, and then let horrible things happen, so...

First off, a free audio copy of RECKLESS, the second book in the Rohan family saga. Since the books are about separate generations you don't have to read them in order, and in certain ways this one is my favorite. For some reason it's all about sex. I don't know why it came out that way, but it did, and it's great sex, with a lovely supporting couple and all sorts of wicked goings-on. I have five copies, read by the divine Susan Ericksen. My screw ups are legendary and monumental. The most recent ones were relatively small but numerous just yesterday. I wrote about Moonrise and writing through grief when it was actually Ritual Sins that was free for the day. Then I put up some strange link. (This was after starting to talk about mistakes and then losing the post). Then I panicked. Then I went to visit my new granddaughter and told my son it was so lovely that his son looked like him. So just ignore my sad story about writing Moonrise. At times I'm a Bear of Very Little Brain. It's RITUAL SINS, which really pushes the boundaries as well. Cult leader and rip-off artist as hero? I make it work -- trust me.

I was going to talk about mistakes I've made over my career -- the good ones and the bad ones (and there were many excellent mistakes, even if I had to pay for them). However, in honor of the subject I wrote a nice long bit, didn't save it, and the computer froze. Remember to save your work, people. Sigh.

I've always been one to enjoy a bit of irony, but I think the PTB don't want me to talk about mistakes today. I hope they don't want me to talk about Ritual Sins, because I don't want to cry....
