I have to confess something. I’ve been looking forward to writing this book since I finished Bite the Bullet in 2016. The Bitten series was so much fun to write, but I planned for it to be only five books. I didn’t want it to end, but I also couldn’t continue the storyline.

That’s how the Blood & Bone series was born. Chloe and Lachlan were secondary characters in One Little Bite and Love Bites and they needed a happy ending. They deserved one. If you’ve read the books, you know why I’m saying that.

I finally got around to writing their story this year and I’m so excited to share it with you! I hope you enjoy these characters as much as I did.

If you follow me on Facebook, you know I’ve been hard at work on a new paranormal romance, which is an off-shoot of the Bitten series. When I was writing One Little Bite and Love Bites (Bitten, #4), I realized that the secondary characters in those books deserved their own stories. Then I wrote Bite the Bullet (Bitten, #5), I knew that there was no way I could end things completely. There were too many other books I needed to write. Lachlan, Chloe, Duncan, and Rhys needed their stories told. I wasn’t ready to leave them. That’s when I decided to write the spin-off series.

When I released Bite the Bullet and then Destined by Blood, the Bitten Origins novella, I fully intended to begin the spin-off immediately with Blood & Bone. Unfortunately, I was sidetracked. I had several other books that were scheduled to be written and published before I could start the series.

The good news is that Blood & Bone is scheduled for release on May 30! The cover reveal will be on May 5. If you’re a newsletter subscriber, keep an eye on your inbox because not only will you get to see the cover, you’ll get an exclusive excerpt AND a special newsletter giveaway!
