Well, my day didn't turn out as planned. I was all ready to get some good (or great-LOL!) writing done when I woke up, but when I flipped the switch to the bathroom light nothing came on. I went to go check the frig, but already knew the problem, and cursed the powers-that-be for it. You see, here in my wife's native country they have "brown outs" whenever they please, blaming it on cost, when in reality it comes down to poor management. So yeah, I spent the whole day outside reading under the grey sky, unable to actually write because I was not at my table under a good light. (Remember. I'm visually-impaired).

Here's hoping for a better tomorrow.

Wanted a domain that is easy foe all to remember. Since my last name can be quite difficult for people other than French to spell/remember, and the domain that I felt best describes my writing, Dramatic Novellas.

Well, went to the hospital today. As an American living abroad, don't have ObamaCare or anything else, so I have to go to a public hospital here in my wife's native country. You see, for some reason, ever since I've been here, every couple of years my left ear gets clogged up and I have to go get it flushed out. What would normally take about five minutes ended up taking five hours today, since those without insurance flock to this hospital. Here's a pic I took of the crowds. So just multiply it by like eight and you can imagine my day! Good thing I had a book with me!

And after all that waiting they couldn't even flush my ear! Said I needed to loosen it up inside first so as not to run the risk of abrasions. So I guess another tedious day lies ahead for me. Hope the baby oil works!
