also can we talk about when Elide saved Lorcan!? I was so freaking stressed about that the whole time!!

the 13 was so painful and they didn't even fight to win the war, they sacrificed themselves so everyone could fight another day. their sacrifice gave them that extra day so Aelin and the cadre could show up and join the fight. that fact kills me

the one thing I didn't like about the ending was that Aelin had to give up all her powers. like I'm not gonna lie that pissed me off so much. the whole time Aelin was talking with the gods I was stressed like I really thought they were gonna kill her and then when she lost her fire powers it left like they killed a part of her. Elena also pisses me off towards the end

SO MANY SPOILERS FOR THE END OF KOA
the cadre singing for Gavriel broke me I was grieving with them. all the the losses felt so personal and real it was like if I actually lost them in real life too

there are some things about the ending we can talk about!!

the ending was so crazy and I was crying so much especially when I finished reading I sat their in disbelief cuz I couldn't believe the book was over

@Alyssa it's definitely a tough book to get through but the payoff is so worth it! everyone does get some kind of happy ending and the character development is chefs kiss

how are you feeling how are the emotions? I felt so empty when I finished it.
I absolutely loved when Aelin showed up to battle on the stag and literally barged into battle with everyone. I lost my shit

oh and has Aelin shown up to the battle yet

You got this girl just six more pages and then we can mourn the loss of the series together lol
I will say I also cried like a baby when I finish the book because I couldn't believe it was over. also the last line and throne of Glass is the same in Kingdom of Ash. before you go into the epilogue they have the same last sentence and that just broke my heart all over again lol

I was waiting for you to get to that part. I cried so freaking much when he died! Aedion and Gavriel came to terms that Aedion may never want a relationship with him. when he said "close the gate" I lost my shit. his death and the death of the 13 were the worst

I hate getting spoilers but it tell myself it's okay because I know what happens not how it happens and it's all about the journey

oh my god I would have lost my mind 😂 I did a similar thing while reading court of wings and ruin I was flipping through to see how much I had left and saw "___ was dead" and stopped reading for a while lol

@Katie the way I read it was starting with Assassin's Blade. it's a 5 prequel novellas that happen before the events of ToG, read the rest of the books in order and did the tandem read for ToD and EoS. I personally think this was the bear way to read it. Reading AB first gives you a good understanding of the world and a good understanding on who Celeana is and you won't have to stop the flow of the story to read the prequel. But if you like an ah-ha moment id recommend reading AB after CoM, it'll be the easiest transition from the storyline to the prequel and won't disrupt the flow too much.

I haven't heard that song but I'll definitely listen to it. Alex Warren new song Eternity reminds me so much of everyone from ToG.
keep the tissues handy cuz it's only going to her tougher and more emotional

I was none stop crying from when the 13 died till the end. Dorian's dad killed me, "my fireheart had lied" had me sobbing, the whole thing with the lock fucked me up. I totally understand your emotions cuz I felt the same way it was a crazy emotional rollercoaster

the 13 ABSOLUTELY KILLED ME! I WAS SOBBING!!! thank God I was listening to it while reading cuz I was crying so hard I couldn't see the words on the page.

SPOILERS Dorian has the wyrdkey, He's not allying with Maeve (that was a ploy to trick her and get more info. and I believe he is going straight to Terrasen to meet with Aelin. because you need all three keys to open the lock
