Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Andrew Hastie It all started with the scene where Josh breaks into the Colonel's house. I could see the rooms full of old memorabilia and artefacts. The kind of rooms you see hoarders create on TV. The idea that Josh would steal something and end up back in the past gave me the storyline for the Oblivion Order, that things have a past and there are people that can use them to navigate back in time. I didn't want a time machine or a blue box... I wanted them to be able to do it naturally, like a super power and I wanted Josh to accidentally enter that world.
