National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo). I've "won" nanowrimo twice now and find that the rapid pace forces me to get words down on paper. It stops you from second-guessing each word and instead encourages you to pull together a bare bones first draft. Being able to write "The End" after a month feels like a huge accomplishment (even if you have a lot of editing in front of you).
