I just finished a stand-alone and am now returning to the third book in my series that features a Phoenix, Arizona homicide detective named Sean Richardson and his partner, Maggie McClinton. The book opens when a woman discovers her husband's infidelity. Later, the husband reports his wife missing and a few days after that a female torso is discovered floating in a canal. When it's identified as the missing woman, Richardson and McClinton have to figure out who killed the woman and pitched her body into the canal. As usually happens in a book like this, complications ensue.
