I really like James Patterson(though I like his adult series better than his YA series- I'm sad Maximum Ride is over) Twilight, Harry Potter, Hunger Games. Elle Casey is a new favorite author of mine and I'm actually going to be interviewing her on my blog on Friday.

I pre-ordered the last one. It's actually the only ebook I've ever pre-ordered. (I pre-ordered my hardcover of Breaking Dawn as well, and went to a Barnes and Noble midnight release)

I liked it, and I was satisfied in the end, though I very nearly wasn't.

One thing that did bug me about it was that a large portion of the end of the book, like 15% of the book was a preview of his new series. I sort of felt cheated, you know?

I think it could have been much better than it was but ultimately I'm glad I read it. I'd loan it to you but unfortunately lending isn't enabled on it =(

Yeah that would annoy me to i mean it's okay if it's the same part od a series, but trying to sell it off on a new series can be annoying. Welcom

you said you enjoy riding horse do you have one of your own? Also I haven't read your book Crux yet but I've heard great things and I hope to read it soon. And I totally agree with you there are so many great authors and books I just can't name them all and I like many, no all of the authors you've listed! I'm glad you joined too :D

I love horses, wish I still could ride. I was an equine major in college before life and kids and family took over.

I didn't even intend to put horses in my book, but they sort of worked their way in and I even featured one on my back cover of the paperback.

As for my favorite books, it's hard to choose since I've read a lot of really good books, Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff being the most recent one (I loved it sooooo much!!). There're The Fault in our Stars, the Ruby Red series, the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, Shatter Me, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and anything written by the authors I mentioned above.

I love the colour red, I just find it beautiful. And I looove cats!

Little late on the intro, but better late than, so . . . LOL!!

I'm Missye, read YA all my life, write YA (finished my first novel's revisions JUST yesterday, working on the second in the series). Ever since I read C.S. Lewis NARNIA series, I've been a HUGE fan of YA and never dropped it. Guess it's b/c I've a heart like a child I never outgrew.

Fave authors: C.S. Lewis, Twain, Poe, Fitzgerald, Spillane, L'Engle, Lipsyte, Zindel (the old school guys). Patterson's okay (love his ALEX CROSS reads), never got into his YA stuff.

Fave colors: purple, bright green, silver, black.

Love horses (used to ride a lot when I lived in AZ), used to live in Brooklyn, but don't now (too expensive and too PC).

Fave music: mostly old-school jams, but have some new stuff in the iPod. Ranges from Lena Horne to Dexter Gordon to Bruno Mars and (some!!!!) Justin Bieber.

Finally . . . SO glad to be here! Newer YA reads: THIRTEEN REASONS WHY, PERSONAL EFFECTS, RATS SAW GOD, PERRY'S KILLER PLAYLIST, love the PERCY JACKSON & Harry Potter reads, some Jerry Spinnelli reads, and DEAD MAN'S HAND. I tend and trend to strong YA male leads, since I write that way--blame HUCKLEBERRY FINN, lol!--and I'm a huge fan of books for boys with strong role models they can relate to, appreciate in the things they read, but aren't boring, stuffy or heroes without flaws.
