Tower Team D: Dangerously Determined to Devour All Books

It will count toward the Captain's Challenge.
This was one of the best books I've read in a while. It was wonderfully depressing (yes, I like the sad ones) and so well written that I felt as if I was experiencing everything Dolores was. I can't even begin to say how much I loved it!
If any one is looking for a really, really good book, check this one out!!

That is awesome! Regional systems for borrowing ebooks are the best because they usually have more books. My library is on a regional system but my mom's library is not.
@Amanda - both your books count towards the mini challenge as well! My mom likes sad books - I'll be recommending this one to her.

I love Elvis and Joe!

Thought I'd give everyone an overview of what we did in February. As a group, we read 450 books last month!
Big Books (over 750 pages):

Way to go, Team!! Let's see if we can beat that number for March. We are off to a great start!!

We are over 30 books read for the In Like a Lion Mini Challenge! Amazing!! Keep it up - you have until Midnight tonight for your books to qualify.

I am reading

Here are the most recent standings:
Team C - 1230 books
Team B - 1158 books
Team A - 1107 books
Team D - 1099 books
Great job team!

Also, I just finished

And don't forget the Captain's Challenge is still going on as well as the March Mystery Challenge. So keep reading, just keep reading!!
I started a book that will (finally) qualify for the mystery challenge. I am reading

@Melissa - I have read a bunch by Sherrilyn Kenyon but completely out of order. And it was awhile ago. I should go back and read them again.
@Vi- I wish I was on #36 of the In Death series!! Wow. I love this series! I'll be reading #17 this month.
@Chris - love Julia Quinn and love the Bridgertons! Such fun regency romance! I love her humor.
@Kristin - hard to believe that 45 people shelved that as mystery! What did you think. I thought it had potential.

Finished "To Sir Phillip with Love" before midnight 3/3, "To Tame a Highland Warrior" on 3/4.

Also, I finished

Also, I finished

I did enjoy it - not as much as the Highland Mist but enough to start the next one :-) Grimm was a little too "self-sorry" for a Berserker. He's better when he's with Hawk.

Congratulations Chris - Winner of the Mini Challenge!
And congratulations to all the participants! We did an amazing job of reading. Looking forward to the next mini challenge!!

As of post #1259 Team D is ahead by 1 1/2 books (remember it was twice as many as The Captains)!
The Captains - 15 books
Team D - 33 books
You have until midnight March 10th to post your finished books.
Congrats Chris, way to go, way to go, ho ho!!!!!

@Chris - the third Highlander book by KMM is really the start of the series. I think you'll really like it.

I think I've said it before, but I really love the Sirantha Jax series. I'm going to be sad when it's over.

Megan L wrote: "I do have a question though. If we played in round I and already have a shelf for this challenge do we have to have a new shelf for the second round or can we continue to use the shelf we have already?"

@Alley - I've read one book by Ann Aquirre and I liked it. I don't remember what it was, though.
@Rebecca - what did you think of Matched? I have it on my TBR.
I just finished

Love dragons, and loved this. It will count toward the Captain's Challenge.
I am now starting

Cathie wrote: "Ok, the above answer leads to another question: Do we need to take all of our books off the shelf that we have already read, if we keep the same shelf name?"

And congratulations to all the participants! We did an amazing job of reading. Looking forward to the next mini challenge!!"
Thank you! It was fun!

Good to know! It's on my kindle!
