I would love some new recommendations, so please add me as a friend on GR!
I also enjoy Greek tragedy, philosophy and logic, and mythology (especially Greek). My favorite contemporary book along those lines is Zachary Mason's Lost Books of the Odyssey. It was life-altering.

My name is Rachel. I am Dutch-French, have lived in Paris most of my life and just recently moved back to the Netherlands. I’m a mother of 2 girls, a visual artist and mature student of psychology. New to GR and first time joining a book club. I love the format of this group- including the short stories and poetry- thanks for having me:) I purchased the books for August and look forward to participating!

Hi to my friend Katherine! Thank you for coming over!

My name is Suzanne and I live in a Maryland suburb of Washington D.C. I have been an avid reader since my teenage years which were a very long time ago. I have been a member of a "live" book club for over 20 years and now look forward to participating in discussions with this online book club as well.

Hello, I am Jen. I went back to college later in life and I just finished my Bachelor's in Philosophy. I hope to get a master's in teaching English to speaker's of other languages. I have always loved reading, especially the classics! Thanks you for the opportunity to find books that are new to me and to discuss them.

Donna, I am also from southwestern PA. Too bad you missed our Constant Reader convention in Pittsburgh last October!

I love to read whenever I can. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is reading.
