I used to make my mom take me to the bookstore and buy me the new BSC book every month."
I've been going back and reading them again as an adult. I use them in my classroom, so I want to make sure that I've read everything before I let the students read it.

Patience?? What's that?
No pressure or anything, Yz. ;) I think seeing the new challenge each month and picking books for it is almost more fun than reading them. And then, of course, getting to cross them off when you're done.

Jumping on the, I hope YZ is ok bandwagon.

2. Read a book picked from an April B-Day celebrant GR shelf. Be sure to specify whose shelf you pick it from.
7. Read a book that has some kind of WAR as a backdrop. (Could be realistic like World War I, etc or imaginary like the Brotherhood against Lessers..as long as you can justify it..LOL)
8. Read a book that has a "male profile" on the cover. (Be sure to post the cover. Let's see if its drool-worthy..LOL)

Completed 3/10

The end! Updated 23 April.

Roll on May & men we love...

I'm posting right now from work, but I will be picking up a new keyboard tonight. The challenges should have been up on the 21st, plus the update, but let me see if I can put them up today.

I was telling hubby a few days ago that "when my online friends seem more real than my actual friends, something is definitely wrong with that picture.."...LOL

Well... ummm... I don't even want to think about that, I'm in denial.

LOL I just don't have access to a library for books so I have to use what I have or see if anyone at work has any books in english that will fit the catagories lol Didn't mean to sound impatient LOL
YZ glad that it is only the keyboard that you have to replace. I know about trying to replace a computer, I just wouldn't be able to and yep I know what you mean about online friends being more real than supposedly close ones lol

I really do love this group and the friendly atmosphere here !
Also the insatiable appetite for books it has created within me ! !
