Bryan Craig Welcome, Linda. I wish you luck in getting a job. I hope reading will ease your mind as you go through the full-time job of finding a job.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the "add book/author" feature when you are ready to cite a book. (There is a link on the top right of the reply box.) It makes things so much easier for people to see your book recommendations, because they can see the cover and the links to the author. And it helps the Goodreads software connect books with groups that talk about them. When citing a book and/or author, please put the book cover, author's photo and author's link at the very bottom of the post after your text. Because it is on the bottom, it calls the reader's attention to the book/author and increases the readability of your posts.

This is how a book should look:

I have always been interested in Latin American history but lately I have become fascinated with American history. Also, this seems like a great group for people who may have questions about a particular topic

Terry | 1 comments Greetings fellow history enthusiast. My name is Terry B. I am a 60 year old consulting (civil)engineer living in Michigan - USA. My principal history interest is U.S. military history. My love of history began in 1982 when I visited the Gettysburg battlefields for the first time. I started reading about that critical time that shaped our nation and have continued until today. My interest expanded into WWI & WWII during the late 1990's while researching my family tree. This interest has grown into my desire to read and research about all of the major conflicts that our nation and troops have fought in to preserve our freedom. I am a genuine fan of Abraham Lincoln. I am always amazed how the men and women of this nation have made extreme sacrifices for all generations. I started a blog about a year ago primarily in an effort to share what I have learned with my family. I am looking forward to being part of this group.
