That's good, Evelyn.

It looks interesting Giorgia, but I'm pretty booked with reading this year - I want to join in on group reads, have a book to read for recommendation swap, and am trying to read some prospective gift books for Christmas. If you could hold off until January, I'd probably be able to join you then. :)

Hi Greg, I hadn't noticed the last comment before. I've heard from other people too and it seems like December could be a good time to start The Lies. However, with the holidays I always get behind on my reading, so I'll definitely keep reading through January. Also for me December - January - February means crazy studying for exams and so I don't read much.

I'd still be interested in reading it if others are still interested. Anyone else still want to do a readalong of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings?

I'm planning to read it at some point, Greg, so I could join you in a readalong.

I am interested in reading that but have no time this month. Sorry :(

Sorry Greg, I was meant to do this but I completely ran out of time. Had a crazy November (worked away for 3 weeks then started a new job)!

No problem Heather! I myself am always over-committed on readalongs. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach! And I certainly know about work taking over. Hope your new job went well! :)
I have a lot to read this month too. Would more be able to join if we delayed until January?

I could do January. I would like to get it from the library.
Please go ahead and read it anyway of you want to as I'm trying not to commit to too much!

But I'm happy to read it next year now as I managed to fit in three books by Maya Angelou for our seasonal poet. I never expected to be able to find so many in an accessible format :)

That's great news, Jean. Glad you could join in. Let's go for January. I'm back on the 4th so will look for a copy after that

Hope we don't get too confused here. My notifications just said, "Heather and Heather commented on "Would anyone like to join me in reading ...?"" :D
@Jaytee I'd love to read this but don't have time at the moment. When are you thinking? I love Cutting for Stone

I need to finish Wolf Hall 1st so maybe middle of feb?

Read Cutting for Stone, it is a brilliant book. One of my favourites.
Great, I will set up a thread in a week or so and I've just ordered a copy of the book (so much for not buying books, eh? It wasn't available in the library!)

Heather, thank you & I look forward to this readalong (my first!). Hope this will work for you too, Diane!

Brilliant!
Charbel, I'd like to join too! I really enjoyed The Book of Margery Kempe; it would be interesting to read more books by early religious figures.
I already have the book so I'm good to start anytime ;)
