LOL Sure Ezi. I don't think it really matters, because I think that you roll when you finish whatever is required for the space you are on. I don't think you wait for everyone to be done with their square. I guess I'm just asking if you're planning on reading five books a week and crushing me. I'm OK with losing, but I'd like for it to be some semblance of a game. :)

@Jenn C: can you do 3 books a week? I think Melissa and I typically are 3-5 books a week kind of gals.

Gea - do you want to join Ezi and me? We read usually 3-4 a week so it would probably be a good fit. We are planning to slow down for the holiday weeks - Thanksgiving for sure and Christmas if game still going.

@Ezi,Melissa,Gea, and/or Paris - I would like to play this and am a fast reader, around 5 books/week. Can I be a 4th player or should I maybe wait in case other faster readers join? It looks like so far those who want to play want a slower start.

I'd like to play, I can read 1-3 books a week depending on size and real life.

If I understand the challenge correctly, the more players play together, more books we will have to read so I guess it depends on how many books the players want to read.

I don't mind either way, so you can just put me where I'm needed :)

I put a request in for TC and Mandy to play together because they both read 4-5 books a week.

Paris is at work and will check in a little later. I will ask her if she wants Jenne, Denise and I to play back-up quarterback :D

And now I'm going to update the first post in this thread with who is still looking for games and how many books they are looking to read a week. I have a question about being in jail(when playing the real game I seem to end up here a lot). When trying to roll doubles to get out, do the three turns have to be on different days, or can we just roll the dice three times in a row and then resort to the book option if we don't get doubles?

Good question TC....rolling three times in a row I think would be too easy and not give the other person a chance to capitulate on you being in jail. However, rolling once a day would make being in jail the only time you can't roll as soon as you're done...

I'm gonna say you can roll twice a day for jail. So you end up there, you can roll once more that day and then twice the next day. Does that make sense?

upon seeing this question, I realize that I am a novice at Monopoly. I can count on one hand the number of times I have played it. Can't I just pay bail money and get out of jail? That's what people do in real life, post bail or pay a bond.

Monopoly is one of my nephew's favorite games. He has at least 3 versions of it.

Ezi, if you don't want to roll doubles, then you could read a book where a character is arrested or has been in jail. Books for this would need to be 150 pages or more.

Paris, I bow to your greatness as you put a lot of work into this game, but I am scared. Boardwalk is a beast--five DNF books.

Sounds like a plan to me Denise, I'd love to play with you, I've got 2 other team challenges on the go but 1 should be wrapping up in the next 2-3 weeks so that will leave me with only 1 challenge :)
