Catherine Bruno | 771 comments @Rham Good to know! I'm still waiting for the library to get their act together and process it and give it a number so I can go get it. Frustrating cause I'm dying to read it! I literally check everyday to see if it's available.

Me too Catherine :) I'm tired of waiting!

Rham (Reads and Wanders) (rhamichu) | 115 comments I feel you guys. The bookstore that sold the white covers still doesn't have it and I've been checking everyday since September 6. And the other *famous* bookstore is only selling hardbound and black covers and I own the white paperback ones... Do you see my frustration :(

I believe the white paperbacks are the UK editions.

I'm 20% into Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1) by Cassandra Clare . I'm enjoying being back in the world of the Shadowhunters and Downworlders, but not a lot has happened so far and the characters are...okay.

Since my last update I've finished:

Every Heart a Doorway (Wayward Children #1) by Seanan McGuire 4 stars, really liked this one! Much creepier and sinister than I was expecting!

Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) by Colleen Hoover and Finding Cinderella (Hopeless, #2.5) by Colleen Hoover Both 4.5 stars. I just love the whole series, absolutely heartbreaking but amazing!

United as One (Lorien Legacies, #7) by Pittacus Lore which was a good conclusion to the series. More deaths I was very sad about, but overall, this was a good series, I liked it!

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith 3.5 stars. Cute, but somewhat drawn out with a bit, and I really didn't like the male MC, Owen all that much. Lucy was adorable.

Right now I'm reading The Time Traveler's Handbook 18 Experiences from the Eruption of Vesuvius to Woodstock by James Wyllie which I'm REALLY liking! Really fun nonfiction read with a bit of fiction twist LOL!

Getting ready to start Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2) by Amie Kaufman !

message 1563: by [deleted user] (new)

I finished malala today and binged Back Story by David Mitchell both books I recomend.
starting The Iron Thorn (Iron Codex, #1) by Caitlin Kittredge next

That's normal for me. Actually, it's only because it's two weeks worth of mainly short books... I've actually not been reading as much as normal for me recently.

Hardly any reading done in the last week! Been so busy with arting and craft stuff, as well as work, as well as taking care of my parents' dogs while they were away!

Finished reading The Time Traveler's Handbook 18 Experiences from the Eruption of Vesuvius to Woodstock by James Wyllie which I really liked, and really recommend to time travel fans who want to learn some history, especially little details of daily life in history!

Also finished reading Slammed (Slammed, #1) by Colleen Hoover which I liked quite a bit. I'll be reading Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2) by Colleen Hoover in the next few days.

Still reading Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2) by Amie Kaufman , although I'm close to finishing it! Its SO GOOD!!! Loving it!

I finished Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1) by Cassandra Clare :) It was okayyyy, I like where the story is heading although I didn't find this story to be the most compelling. Not sure whether I will read the sequel.

Now I'm reading Chains (Seeds of America, #1) by Laurie Halse Anderson , which is EXCELLENT. Highly recommend.

I just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy . Very profound!

I'm almost finished with The Delphi Effect (The Delphi Trilogy Book 1) by Rysa Walker . Rysa's new series is amazing!

I'm over half way finished with The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells .

And I started the audiobook of Fire Country (The Country Saga, #1) by David Estes ! Squeeee!! Khristine Hvam is killing it as Siena! So excited to finally hear my favorite character come to life. She sounds EXACTLY as I heard her in my head! Amazing performance!

I finished both Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2) by Colleen Hoover and This Girl (Slammed, #3) by Colleen Hoover Both were good!

The three 11 yr old kids in Point of Retreat was definitely the highlight of the series for me. IMO, its worth reading just for those kids!
