Okay sounds good, just didn’t want y’all to think I wasn’t reading! :-)
I shouldn’t be finishing my current reads too far behind the start of this one!
I appreciate all the work mods put in on all these amazing and fun challenges, and those reasons make sense too!

It's ok for me to list any books now that I want to read before the end of the challenge - even if they are June or July books, ri..."
I totally agree—it feels like a luxury to type with a keyboard and have more than one window open at once on my screen when I get to use a computer 😂

Some help for planning the mini! My feeling is that the tasks are harder than the spell out so can we fill those 1st please. If you read a book and realise it can fit somewhere els..."
These are ALL books on my TBR I’m dying to read. Ugh, why do I want to read everything all at once? *Sigh*

The one I thought might have an instrument doesn't, is has records.
I'll keep an eye out for a poetry quote or dancing. I often don't find that out until I am actively reading the books. I do tend to read a lot when not in a slump, so there is a good chance I will be able to fill in anything that's left.

I know! It's impossible to choose what to read and then someone mentions something new and tbr is longer than ever.

Finding things while reading is the only way with some tasks. Feel free to move things by changing the mini code until we have the boxes checked at the end of the row it's on.

edit: i know it's a month away but i'll definitely be reading the witch's heart though since it was one of my top books of last year

No worries at all! I often just add the book I'm currently reading. It's unusual that I have this bumber waiting from the library. There are lots of spell out options that can be used as we go.

Wow thats a lot of reading! So long as you can finish a nirmal book in those 2 days (which wouldn’t surprise me with those numbers), don't feel you have to hold back because of this. Think marathon here, not sprint!

The good thing about the read-a-thon at AMMP is that anything listed on GR counts, so I can read comics and children's books as well as regular adult novels, etc. Once the TT starts, I can probably get through 2 novels in a day if I have access to an audio version. I currently have 15 books checked out from the library and a huge stack requested that are likely to come in on either Monday or Thursday next week, so I have plenty to keep me busy. :-) The last r-a-t we did I managed to complete all tasks and read over 7000 pages in the 10 days. I don't think I'll go that crazy this time though, but the 5000+ page task is always a goal.

Thank you for the clarification, Sophie !

Same here. Currently re-reading one of my favourite manga series when I was a teenager. I'm not starting any full length novels over the weekend either (will watch Eurovision tomorrow anyway and I think I'm having a throat infection and I'm so annoyed by it).

I'm watching eurovision this weekend as well! looking forward to drinking wine and eating candy with mom and while singing along!

We don't get Eurovision here in the States. I do know that a band I like (The Rasmus) is in the competition. I hope they do well.

You're going on vacation, right? If you are, do tell us where all you're going to be visiting!
On another note, has anyone here read the Heartstopper series? It's all over my GR and YouTube feeds - it's basically haunting me at this rate.

I believe it is the same.

Melissa in one of the other teams has written this haiku as part of a prechallenge activity one of the other groups has going on:
My book is finished
Now I stare at the countdown
Better than housework
Sponsored by the Achilles poetry contest :)
If you feel so inspired, I'd love to see your efforts!

Can’t start books til tomorrow
Poorly timed long flight
How’s that? :)"
😂👏👏

Here's my free puppy advice:
I'm a public librarian. Puppies LOVE library books. My theory is that they can smell other people and dogs...but they really do love to eat library books even when they don't bother your other ones. So keep them up high. 😉
Enjoy your new puppy!

Love it! Sorry about the badly timed start for you. Hope you've arrived this side of the Atlantic safely.

I’m about to finish one today that I thought would take me longer into the challenge! So only my audiobook will hold me up.

Lol 😂

And my audio will be done tomorrow so not too bad for thinking I’d be starting this one way behind :-)

Thank you, Denise ! I see I will have some explaining to do if I leave them unattended. Good to know. Top shelf for library books it is then ;) I presume he's probably going to chew my kindle casing as well.

I'm off to bed now but will start with the BOM as my first read tomorrow and prepare the DQs.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm guilty of having "eyes bigger than my stomach" when it comes to my TBR lol ;)"
Haha that’s definitely me as well!!
